I remember him explaining what in a video before that you should just fill them with fighters because they have Naval attack. I understood what he was saying but at the same time surely on a carrier you want to be stacking naval attack and not just being capable of it?
@@ImmaOnDaInternetz Yeah, I think stacking fighters is more for countering enemy carriers than doing anything with your own. IIRC the way naval attack works is closer to armor and piercing where it was to be above the enemy ships armor to actually help, so carrier fighters will only really kill pre-war destroyers or meme ships in multiplayer games. carrier naval bombers are definitely the way to go for getting kills, though Carrier CAS I believe isn't THAT far behind and can also help with naval invasions or coastal fighting. The other thing worth mentioning is he might have been playing Japan or Generic tree facists when he said that, in which case he is probably right due to Kamikaze strikes (which do allow carrier fighters to obliterate navies)
