    Can you talk about the mounting location. My ceiling is 9’ high and what is the distance back from the screen ?

      Hey Steve! We always suggest hitting from 10' from the screen as that tends to be the safest area. ProTee suggests that at 9' ceilings, the launch monitor be mounted 3'4" in front of the hitting area. If you had 10' ceilings, ProTee suggests the launch monitor be 3'7" in front of the hitting area.

    Where does it mount? Over the tee off area, or ahead of it? Do you have them in stock? And any tax for a California shipping address?

    • @CarlsPlace
      @CarlsPlace  9 месяцев назад

      Hey! Yes, it mounts 9-10ft above the hitting area and about 3.5 feet in front of the hitting area. They ship from ProTee, so we do not have them in stock. As for the tax, I suggest reaching out to our customer service team here: www.carlofet.com/contact

    I have a 5ft deep enclosure. Can I use a pole mount off the rear most cross bar or mount it on a pole kit coming off the back?

      Hi Jacob! Do you have a DIY or Pro Enclosure?

    • @JacobHeltzel
      @JacobHeltzel 10 месяцев назад

      DIY with the standard 5ft depth

    • @CarlsPlace
      @CarlsPlace  10 месяцев назад

      @@JacobHeltzel Gotcha. We don't suggest mounting any electronics to the 1" EMT frame of the DIY enclosures. The pipes just typically aren't strong enough to hold electronics without bending, and you won't want to risk your valuable electronics like that! Our 2" EMT frames with our Pro Enclosures are much sturdier and can handle electronics mounting!

    Has the new mount been released yet?

      @@CarlsPlacethis is great. Just to confirm - it only works for the PRO enclosure? not for the DIY?

    • @CarlsPlace
      @CarlsPlace  8 месяцев назад +1

      @@testbrandaccountonbusine-ck3di Correct, these are made to attach to the 2" EMT pipe frame. We don't recommend mounting anything, especially higher-priced electronics, to the 1" EMT frame of the DIY enclosures!

    Where did the mount come from?

  • @DarrenAnastasoff
    @DarrenAnastasoff 9 месяцев назад

    The way this was calibrated, will make your hitting area the same size as the calibration board. Instead, Protee recommends that you expand the arrows to the outer square, which will maximize your hitting area. Please see Protee's calibration instructions for a more detailed explanation.

      Good point. Still will work this way, but a larger hitting area is definitely worth it!

    How do I connect the protee vx to gspro?

    • @CarlsPlace
      @CarlsPlace  11 месяцев назад

      I believe you have to contact ProTee to allow your unit to connect to GSPro. Then, in the ProTee Labs software, you have to go into the settings > game options tab and choose GSPro from the drop down menu. Make sure GSPro is open first.

    What is the depth of the enclosure you set this up on? I assume it is 10' deep or 15' deep? If it mounts on the center crossbar would you then just adjust the location of your hitting mat to be the required distance away from the ProTee VX?

    • @CarlsPlace
      @CarlsPlace  10 месяцев назад

      This is a 15' deep enclosure with a cross bar at 9.5'. So yes, if you mount the VX at 9.5', you would move your hitting area 3.5' outside of that (13' from screen). That is definitely pushing the limit of our recommendations, but with a 15' deep enclosure, we are able to do that safely.

    • @CarlsPlace
      @CarlsPlace  10 месяцев назад

      Ideally, you would probably want a crossbar at 6.5' from the screen so then the 3.5' required for ProTee VX would allow you to hit from 10 or so feet from the screen!

    • @midwestindoorgolf
      @midwestindoorgolf 10 месяцев назад

      @@CarlsPlace that makes sense! Sounds like the C Series enclosures that are 15' deep will need another option with the cross bar at 6.5'! 😀in the meantime, I assume you can make them custom if I decide to purchase one with a ProTee VX launch monitor?

    • @CarlsPlace
      @CarlsPlace  10 месяцев назад

      @@midwestindoorgolf Yes, crossbars are also customizable! Just as an FYI, though, all Pro Enclosures 120.1" and deeper come with a crossbar at half depth, but with a minimum placement of 6.5' from the screen. This means that all enclosures shallower than 157" will have a crossbar at 6.5', and all enclosures 157" and more will have a crossbar at half depth.

    I’d sure like to know more about why Pro Tee only has a one year warranty and why they don’t accept returns. Seems like a major red flag. If they don’t stand behind their product why should anyone trust their product enough to buy it.

    • @CarlsPlace
      @CarlsPlace  9 месяцев назад

      That is a great question that we cannot answer. You'd have to contact them for that answer. We just follow their reseller rules!
