I stumbled across this song in 2011 and it was my pvp gladiator arena theme song from then on ( i used to play world of warcraft back in those days). Now, I have a Manowar playlist on spotify that I listen to every time I go to the gym. The thing is, I used to be a edm/techno head. Manowar converted me into metal, and I love it!
This is a family song for us fans. I have been in Greece, Germany, Finland, Brazil, sporting a Manowar shirt, don't matter where...someone always comes up and instant a friend! Thats what it is to be in this community!

Best part of this song is the story it was written in response to terrorist attacks in 2001. It was an anthem to unite rather than divide.

Have listened to Manowar since 1987 when I was 7 years old and when I'm traveling with my girlfriend and I have a Manowar shirt on then metal people says hello and shakes hands and some wants to take pictures and ask where we comes from

These videos do no justice to being there. I was there. And i swear to god, i was kind of in the back, but when they started and hit the first notes, all the air in my lungs went out and a silhouette of me formed behind me from the dust in my clothes.
Great reaction. I love Manowar. I've see them 2 times as a teenager more than 25 years ago and it was great. A few months ago I bought tickets for their show next year (let's see what Covid has to say about it).

Been 20 years a fan. They got me through some bloody awful times. Master of the Wind if the best ballad ever writen. Mountains is amazing too. Hail and Kill is a masterpiece and there's so so many other awesome songs. Man, you've earned my sub, kudos!

Manowar did that to try and be the direct opposite of the Make-up coated bands like poison. Manowar are modern vikings, and they really know how to play a show.

I love Manowar, for many many many years and they have never dissapointed me so far. I was even lucky to meet them (they signed my tshirt, ticket and I can see myself in video clip "I Believe")

Guys, please stop callin' them "power metal". ManOwaR was, is and always will be TRUE fuckin' HEAVY METAL! Btw they have another Guiness book record for the longest metal concert ever - 5 hours and 1 minute in Bulgaria. Jimmy's World, I recommend you to react to studio versions first when it comes to ManOwaR. If you want to hear some real masterpieces, you should react to almost any song from their first 5 albums :D The More slow and epic ones - Battle Hymn, Dark Avenger, Defender, Bridge of death, Blood of my enemies... Or if you want some fast and heavy stuff - Kill with power; Thor; Black wind, fire and steel... And if you want to hear their all time fan hymns - Hail and kill, The Crown and the ring, Kings of metal. And if you wanna hear something really impressive and you have the balls to listen to 28 minutes masterpiece, check "Achilles - agony and extasy" - in my opinion this is the heaviest heavy metal song ever made ;)
