The Spurs are positioned to make a SPLASH in years to come. The Spurs will have 13 or so first round picks over the next 7ish years after they draft 4 & 8 this season. I know the draft isn't as deep, but 4 & 8 could put the Spurs in a solid position for solid starters on cheap salaries with Wemby already on the roster. Then they have cap space to trade those picks to bring in more stars to help this young team. If they are able to get Topic & a Forward at 4 & 8, make a trade or two with those 13-14 picks, with Wemby is already a star... look out.

Rockets are taking whoever spurs want plan and simple
Dude the Hornets have already hired their coach in Charles Lee from Boston, an excellent hire and he has already added some good assistants. Buzelis i am happy with, it makes sense if you want Brandon Miller to play the 2 (we do). I actually think Dalton Knecht makes a lot of sense now that we fell to 6. We need a shooter on the wings and hes pretty much a lock to be a good role player who can improve us right now. But i would go Castle or Holland because i think they will both be able to shoot long term and I think Holland has the best all star potential in the draft outside of Sarr. Just moves like a blur at times and hes still only 19.
Nikola Topic at #4 is the perfect pick for the Spurs at #4. They need a play-making point guard.
Isn’t there a younger wing available at #8 than Dalton Knecht? He will soon be 23. That is pretty old for a rookie. Also, Knecht’s defense is suspect.
As a Bulls fan, I'd be pretty happy getting Cody Williams at 11. Would fear him not being able to shoot consistently though

Too many teams are pick deficient and need to start acquiring picks starting this draft into the future and there are teams who are really heavy thinking about trading down to acquire more picks because they may have just 1 pick in the next couple of drafts!
I also don’t see the top 4 staying the same after the draft teams are likely going to take some major gambles!
I will come back to this statement after the draft to review the statement the I just made to see if was true or not!

Nobody on their roster is solid. Henderson gets another 2 years to prove himself due to his position, age, roster construction/injuries, poor coaching, lousy management and rotten ownership. Sharpe and Tumoni show potential. Williams needs time to get healthy before being traded also. They need to get a string of top picks or young talent in return. Everybody else is expendable and replaceable. Simons, Brogdan and Grant must be traded on or before draft day. Ayton should also be shopped but may be best to let him flourish next year under proper coaching then trade away on or before ‘25 draft. Commit to the rebuild and asset acquisition. They must draft the best players available. No more tanking. Maneuver into getting top pick in ‘25 draft via lottery or trading up.
