It might be a complement to be plagiarized, but this thought doesn't help much, sometimes. As I said to you about your `Mt. Doom’ video at the time; I don't think I've seen a more informative and at the same time more beautiful landscape tutorial in my life. It's when you first see it, and I can’t say what it is, but you have no idea how involved you are in that video until it's over and then it's like you've been dumped back into reality again and you know you've just had a transcendental moment. Simon Booth said he was mesmerized in the comments section and I think he said it right. It's not quite the same when you visit it again but transcendental moments are like that. They're not ours to control, to switch on and off as we like. And then there are the rest of You Tube videos which are more like magazines. They scream the world at you and deliver very little. Not all, of course. They can say the same thing you said in your video and it’s just all meh! and spiritless and forgotten 5 seconds later. No matter how many copies come, that video of yours will always stand alone above all the world’s magazine racks as a masterpiece. I think just be yourself mate. That doesn’t mean you have to make more videos, just try not to let the turkeys get you down.

Hi Geoff. It took me ages to find my groove with YT and fell into what it is I now do as "there is no one more 'me'er, that me" love that phrase. I really enjoy making them when i get the time. This year!..... Ill do a quick vid put together from mount cook where these shots were taken but didnt shoot a lot of contwent, as i had had a disaste the day prior! Of all the notifications on RUclips of late, when I saw yours pop up I was super excited. The first video I saw on your channel was the Orkney one from a few years back and it had me hooked. So much of RUclips is wham bam and over-sensationalized and in contrast, I find your content incredibly well thought out, genuine and relatable. That f11 video is outstanding and there is so much soul in all the content you put out that even though we may never stand on the same hilltop together, through the videos I feel I can take at least some part in it. I appreciate it is a lot of work because it is evident the level of thought you put into your work but please make some more of your epic landscape videos. Your videos are the best on youtube. Most inspiring.

Of all the notifications on RUclips of late, when I saw yours pop up I was super excited. The first video I saw on your channel was the Orkney one from a few years back and it had me hooked. So much of RUclips is wham bam and over-sensationalized and in contrast, I find your content incredibly well thought out, genuine and relatable. That f11 video is outstanding and there is so much soul in all the content you put out that even though we may never stand on the same hilltop together, through the videos I feel I can take at least some part in it. I've only just "discovered" you on this wily old "platform", and I'm so glad I did, having watched a couple of your other vlogs, I loved the "shooting panoramas" one a lot, and this one "broke me" as I felt your deep pain from whatever the content theft issue was, and your daughters amazing singing.. wow.. I am going to limit myself to 1x video a day so I don't "binge" through your content too fast and ten "run out" ;-) keep making magic happen Ewen, wow, I hope I get the chance to meet in person some time soon - I'm based in Sydney so if you are ever over here please do ping me as I'd love to buy you lunch & covfefe and take you around to some of the less than usual spots to shoot various sights here in Sydney.. cheers, @dez_blanchfield
