I´m still using my citizen aqualand as a bottom timer, I think it´s time to upgrade now...thanks for the video!
Excellent real world report. Garmin knocked it out of the park with the Descent MK2!
Thank you for the series of videos. I would like your advice. If I am not particularly interested in air integration. would you recommend me to get the MK2 or MK2i just in case in the future I would change my mind?. I am a recreational diver and looking towards getting some technical training.
Thank you for the video. May be you can help please. Am using Mk2 i, on garmin website specifies mark entry and exit point automatically. On the manual it says press the right hand side button to mark entry the start button. On facebook forum for garmin mk2 i they say it does mark entry point automatically. Can someone explain how to achieve that if is really possible please
I’m currently using the Shearwater Perdix and have the Garmin Fenix 6 Pro for training. The Descent mk2 has everything I need and for the price of two systems, it looks like the perfect watch for me.
Ben, great review. I'll add a quick summary for anyone who might be interested in this watch and if it's for them.
Is it possible to connect tank pad to MK2? Or this option is only available on mk2i? Thanks
would you get the mk2i over the mk2? i've watch reviews mentioning the sonar is quite loud underwater and do you use air integration?
Don't get me wrong, I have a Mk2i but the thing that bothers me about the Descent is that there are a lot of tech features but I have not really seen anyone use them. Garmin does not even have tech / cave ambassadors OR any videos on YT who are doing tech dives using any Garmin watches. If anyone can link me to dive teams using a Garmin Descent on any tech dives I'll be excited to watch them.
