Just a quick heads up, for quality work, usually a vehicle is sent to blasting to expose all damage, then body work is completed, then mock up and modifications, then paint prep, then paint. Also there are many other tools made for cutting pieces of body away which can increase your work quality and speed up your production which lowers cost and increases the final value of the vehicle. I hope this doesn't just seem critical, and it helps you with future builds. Best of luck. I'm subscribing.
Thank you for the input! It’s going to be a road legal drift car anyway so it doesn’t have to be perfect. Just solid ! Have a look at my newest video. Next one will be coming out soon with the body kit painted. Next summer or maybe over winter if I can get a place to work on car I will be doing underneath of the car
Nice job. My E36 inner sills are bent, half of the floor are bare rust, i don't know if it worth to repair or just thrash and scrap it ? What thickness of sheet steel you are using?
Hi thanks for the comment, I can’t remember what we used. If it’s too bad get a cut out or use saloon one and trim them and make them fit. Always worth saving !!
Hi everyone, my jacking points are completely rusted, I can only see the underside of the little pipe for Oem jack stand, everything else is rusted… is it possible to save this car? Would you just cut out a window in that area or cut out the entire side skirt? Thanks everyone
Hi mate thanks for you comment, personally I would recommend getting someone that knows what they're doing to do this. Everything is saveable just need the skills. My welder guy said it's best to get a full skirt replacement it's easiest way as he doesn't have to do a lot of fabrication work and just cut and weld but as you can see I couldn't find any sort of spare sills on eBay so we had to do it bit by bit
@@szymuTV hey thank you so much for replying! Agree best way is to take out the whole thing and weld a new one on.. will se how far the rust goes and then decide Btw do you think doing it bit by bit requires you to cut up the inside as well? To better weld the jack supports on maybe
You could get a lot of subscribers if your videos were edited well. Give a quick introduction, recap and explain what work you're going to complete. Jump in to the work quickly. Give a quick outlook; that's for watching. Next time we plan to (...). Don't forget to like and subscribe. Pay someone on Fiver to edit the videos. Maybe $20/video and suddenly you'll have a couple hundred more subscribers.
Hi, thanks for your comment! I’m more than capable of editing the videos myself but it’s the video layout and actually recording stages that I’m still not sure how I want to do it etc so I really just do as I go without any real planning so any input is good ! Think the next videos will need to be planned a bit more and Edited like you have said. Never thought I’d get so many views in short time haha. Always ways to improve so will try my best. Thanks again !
I paid a friend to do it and I told him I don’t want it to look nice just do it cheap and solid. It is solid but it ain’t nice. He could have done it nicer but would cost 4x more. Also he taught me a lot so I’m thankful for him for looking after me here. He is an amazing welder and fabricator
Enjoying this vid for sure
Thanks for comment!
Elegancko .

Dith you removed the fuel tank for welding te floor in de back ?
No we didn't. Just put a wet cloth between the tank and wall to stop any heat / sparks

Bruh whos welding... The gap on those patch panels 🤣🤣🤣 impossible to weld well
It's actually welded very well and solid, I don't complain
You want some gap for good weld penetration. He should spend some time with the welder settings though. And he's stick out was way too long.
