I just love how there’s certain things I’ve struggled with and I couldn’t quite put it into words, but it was described perfectly in this podcast. One thing mentioned was the struggle to really sit down and listen to God. We either fill our prayer time with our own talk or supplement with additives like worship, when we should just be talking and then sitting in a quiet space. Sitting with our thoughts and seeking His voice. I have struggled with that for so long. Something I’m just now getting to realize is so important. To slow down and sit in silence. And the question of why are we striving for more love, more forgiveness, more etc…? We have already been saved, God loves us, period, and he has forgiven us, period. It’s something He did, not something we have to continue working for like the past. Now we just need to know him and actually build our relationship with Him, which we can do because of Jesus’ sacrifice.
This was AMAZING. PRAYER IS VITAL! And towards the end the point of "It doesn't matter how shameful your past is, God will use your story to get others to find Him through it", that reminded me so much of the story of Joseph. Genesis 50:20 says, "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives." I needed that message. Thank you Colby and Allie! (You should definitely try and get your dad on here and Connor!)
Thank you on the perspective and openness. It is a hard struggle and the views and bringing examples in your lives definitely help assist. I definitely enjoy this video and need more of these videos to keep track with prayers and daily do's.Know my worth and no negotiating my reasons for what I am, and do.
My favorite parts of the podcast are when both of you use the scripture in your thoughts and words. Its beautiful. Its great to see siblings collab and building each other up through conversation. Thank you for sharing your experience with God in the Christian life 🙏
That resonates with my heart: striving for more forgiveness or love from the Lord! I agree we don’t need to strive cause it’s already so freely given!! Love that! This was really great. I just want to note that yes, some people are radically changed in an instant with an encounter, which is amazing. But others it’s a longer sanctification process. God works in us in increments as He reveals things to us and asks us to lay them down for Him. Strongholds. My experience has been the latter and as much as I wish I was radically changed (as I was in my spirit) I still have to show up and die to my flesh daily (as Paul said). It’s been hard work (and I mean just to show up, it’s God who changes us but we have to co-labor with Him and show up) and not always fun. It definitely would have been easier to just give up and go back to what was feeding my flesh, comfortable and familiar. But so worth it. Also, I am working on this exact thing you touched on Allie, with dipping into what is already in us with the Holy Spirit. We are more than conquers in Christ 💪🏼 God Bless you all !!!! 🙏🏼🤍🕊️

Hello, i am in communication with a counselor but i am seeking extra support. just through prayer. if you could keep me in your prayers. i am really struggling to discern what is and what isn’t Gods voice. i’m having so many thoughts at once (and they are not kind, they’re just awful). and im feeling very afraid of God. i feel this type of fear that makes me want to run away from Him. Thank you. 🙏 i’m fighting but i’m tired.im really struggling. i feel so defeated. this has been happening for weeks. i’ve been attack every day. i know this is a battle, i know that what’s we’ve been called to. but this is so much. it’s torment
Thx. A lot of great topics and points. I would disagree on losing salvation though. On 2 points. 1) blasphemy. If you're speaking against God's existence then you've stopped believing. 2) Stopped believing in Christ. Very sad, but some people do turn from God (Satan gets to them)
I pray yall see this and help me. I believe in Jesus Christ and Him dying for us on the cross and raising the theirs day and I’ve begged Jesus to save my souls my whole life, well since I was 4 years old and I am now 57. I am so scared of death and going to hell. I think of every sin I can possibly that I’ve done and ask forgiveness for. Repent and make things right yet I do fall still and I have so much guilt .. We lost my nephew who lead so many to Jesus and raised his young babies to know Jesus and brought his wife to Jesus and his MIL and so many people that didn’t know him but know of him. February 11th was a year he has been gone yet it seems like it just happened .. he was just 34 and had a very rare type of cancer that only 4% has ever had it .. two different cancers in his body. I’m terrified of going to hell and I pray so much and I feel numb and empty and scared every single day. I am alone every single day other than going to work which is hard for me. Please reach out and help me. I need God to intervene .. I do pray so much !!! I love every one of yall !!

So many wonderful truths discussed here but unfortunately the “once saved always saved” belief was espoused. Such a disappointment. Hopefully they will continue studying that recognize the danger of such an unbiblical/unscriptural belief. They need to read through 1-3 John and get that sorted out. Otherwise I enjoyed the podcast.
