- Here's the second of the 1986 primetime specials in (almost) clear quality. Special thanks to James Shea for the video! Commercials are included.
Lucky Seven
Race Game
Grand Game
Range Game
Punch-a-Bunch
Any Number (with a new board in place!)
I own nothing. All rights go to CBS and Fremantle.
When Pluto TV goes to episodes from 1986, I hope we get the summer primetime specials
I hope Pluto TV show the million dollars
I hope so too
Folks...not even Buzzr nor Pluto TV would air those. Those announced by the late John Olson will.
These nighttime specials were scheduled against The Cosby Show and Family Ties in an attempt to put a dent into NBC's Thursday night dominance.
For 1986, $60,000+ in cash and prices is an absolutely obsence amount to win. 😮
Calculating inflation, that is over $175,000 on 2024 money.
Wow, born in 1911, married in 1936 and then on TPIR in 1986… Quite a significant amount of change during that time!
I wish this had continued. Bob Barker interview said these didn't rate that well because it was up against the Cosby Show. Amazing even in reruns this couldn't beat Cosby
If I remember right, they lost to Cos, but after he went off, they won the second half.
Wouldn't made much of a difference to me cause I would've HAPPILY taken the "TPiR Specials" OVER the Cosby clan ANY DAY (never liked Cosby anyway).....
@@jimmyboyzable Especially considering Cosby's sexual actions.
We had so much fun growing up in the 1980s.
Lucky $even bloopers.
The pricing games for this video was:

Any Number (Debut of New Set)
Loved watching these back when they originally aired. I remember the can lights around the big doors and the silver curtains in the back of the audience. I recently realized the turntable and home base area were altered for these specials. (Most videos have been so poor quality it's hard to tell the color). The green borders were changed to a grayish color similar to gold they ended up using on the daytime set about 5 years later. I think the gray used here actually looks better than the gold they settled on.
If memory serves, they liked those gray curtains well too, but unfortunately the lights got so hot, they were left with burn marks on them so they had to be trashed.
TPIR 1970's and 1980's episodes are the best/funniest!!
I love how whenever they messed up, they'd own up to it and just give them the prize
Over $60k of winnings in '86 is crazy
@44:04, and the name of the font, those digits are, what looks like is VANE, it's actually called SEGMENT7
On the Grand Game, I like Bob when he made fun at a contestant when he stalls.
R.I.P. Bob Barker
@44:25, I can't believe those little white bulbs on the doors that are used the daytime show, were removable, what did they do with the lightbulbs?
Markyy, thanks so much for uploading these! ❤
Was this the 1st playing of L7 with the new board, the same with Any Number?
Spyro Gyra's Song for Lorraine plays as the models show off their gowns.
6:50 Lucky Seven accidently opened the 4th door instead of the 3rd door.
The guy in the race game wasn't smart. Why did he change all 4 when one price was right. Dang
Yeah Graham from Quebec choked big time.
Would had been nice if Johnny Olson could have lived to done some of these specials.
I like the price is right
wow, only $13,000 for that sportscar, kinda cheap for 1986, esp.primetime
Bob Barker was the best
An $800 VCR?
5 out of 6.
Older APPLE computers with the outdated floppy disks. For me, i use Windows.
Shirley's adventure 😅🤦
Keith wasn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. SMH...
