How ACA has changed, this shows that it actually cares for people rather then being all about fads and dodgy problems in society

Once upon a time A Current Affair was actually a decent, educational nightly show. Then it was cancelled...then it was brought back as the muck that we see today.

back when "Current Affairs" meant political interviews and actual news, not fad diets, consumer ripoffs and dodgy tradespeople.

Nice to hear nothing has changed, still hour after hour of American programming...

It is just me, or did this seem to be a cynical publicity stunt by some shitty no-name band to get themselves some free publicity?
    Hope they found that girl.

This is peak Australian absurdist TV, up there with the time Ernie Sigley doing his show out of Pentridge Prison

“Once time travel becomes a reality then we can travel back in time and find Eloise”. Time travel is probably going to happen hopefully one day real soon. (-:

The announcer in the Channel 9 promo must have sounded like Peter Smith, who went on to do "Sale of the Century" with Tony Barber and, later, Glenn Ridge, on that same channel in the 1980s and '90s.
