You're a good teacher. Thanks so much for teaching us. God bless you more and more. Pls I will appreciate if you teach us, off shoulder of it. I want to try the off shoulder . Thanks once again I'm grateful. Waiting for you please
You are the best, so clear and easy to understand. Thank you. I have two questions; 1-how is the bust point obtained and what is the use? 2-How do you draft the back of the half bodice?
The bust point is obtained by measuring from your shoulder to your nipple point. It is needed in Dart creation .The tutorial for the back half bodice is here. ruclips.net/video/KjE7LV1E6qI/видео.html
Hi, thank you so much, I appreciate your lessons. I noticed you started the tutorial with the lines already drawn. How do you get those lines? Do you just draw the lines anywhere or there is a specific formula and to get the lines before imputing your measurements
Hello Very detailed explanation but in your previous tutorial you ended up getting a sweetheart neckline. Please I am a beginner, how can I please achieve one. I am trying to recreate your maxi gown video..
Great tutorial, thanks for sharing part of your enormous knowledge. I kindly need to know the measurements from the shoulder line to burst line, then from burst line to under burst line, and from under burst line to waist line. Someone help me here...
Well done MA and may God bless you for the explanations. , pls if your burst span is 8" when marking directly on your fabric will be 4.5 including joining allowance or just 4"
Thank you so so much for the tutorial. This is exactly what I was looking for. My question is, can I use the same pattern to make a six piece flared dress. Once more, thank you.
Hi ... please im a beginner n wish to enroll in a fashion school bh want to know some basics before .... ##please my question is,,##How did u get those 4 straight lines from de beginning of de video??
Hiya, please watch this video to understand how I got the 4 lines. ruclips.net/video/MfOYC9Sr1wo/видео.html and this ruclips.net/video/TcuNhYrBRYs/видео.html
I really liked the video.....quite easy to understand.....but can you please explain how to measure bust point, bust line and under bust lines please??
My dear you are the bestest..... i was cutting along with you hahahahaha!!! It was stressing me. Lemme follow you on instagram i will show you what am making
Very simple explanation I wanted to ask two questions ****is bodice also a bustier if no what's the difference? **** must I always draft out on a cardboard sheet before transferring to the fabric? Thanks
Bodice is just a term for a close fitting upper part of a dress. And no, you do not have to draft on cardboard. You can do it directly on fabric. Drafting on pattern paper first helps eliminate possible mistakes.
It may be more attractive if you could show a complete garment made using this pattern. Then the learner could better understand the appearance and fitting. Thank you.
Thank you for the tutorial. Very helpful. Please may i know why you added 2inches dart to the under burst and the waist line, because I noticed that from the beginning of the tutorial, you only added 1inch to both side of the dart on the waist line and half inch on both side of the under burst. So the 2inches you added to the circumference of the waist line is not clear to me? I was expecting it to be 1inch since it was half inch you added to the both side of the dart. Thanking you in anticipation for your quick response.
Hiya, I added 1 inch dart on both sides of my bust span [nip to nip distance] at both the under bust and waist, making a total of 2 inches. I want to believe that because I used the middle of my taperule to mark the dart, it looks a bit confusing but you can look closely and see that it is 1 inch on both sides I marked. I was scared that I had made a terrible mistake, lol.🙂
Please watch the how to take your measurement video - ruclips.net/video/MfOYC9Sr1wo/видео.html and how to draft a basic bodice video - ruclips.net/video/TcuNhYrBRYs/видео.html
God bless you sister I really appreciate you on this teaching my question is how do you measures for the Bos of 40 for princess Dat , you so 36 Bo's and you mark 8.5 straight down , so how much will be for bos 40?.
Not necessarily, for straight dresses that don't require joining I don't bother with under bust dart, I just work with the waist. If it is a blouse you can make the waist dart the same as the under bust or less.
Thank you for your tutorial. When I keep back neck deeper of about more than 8 inches my shoulders were falling ,can u please tell what to do for deep back neck
Good day. Please I would like to ask. When your Bodice(half cut) back is longer than the front when sewn despite cutting them equally. What is the fault?
Thanks for the tutorial but why do you draw lines already on your paper before explanations? What is the interval between the BL and the BP? I asked because I watched the CB draft video and realized that you measured 1inch on the grain line and still had some extra measurements between BL -BP. Please answer
I have a detailed video already on how to draft a basic bodice which involves those lines. The bust line is the horizontal line drawn where my armhole depth ends (vertical). The bust point line is the vertical distance from your shoulder to your nipple point. There is no standard distance from BL to BP.
Very good , you are the best

Reduce the neck width for a deeper neckline. Your shoulders won't fall.
@@ciscastitches Hi Cisca thank you so much for ur reply. Need broader neck too, should I reduce shoulder and armhone both
Good day. Please I would like to ask. When your Bodice(half cut) back is longer than the front when sewn despite cutting them equally. What is the fault?

👍👍👍👍👍
How did you get the bust line?....why didn’t u cut the back
Ma please how can I determine nipple to nipple measurement without measuring it.
Thanks for the tutorial but why do you draw lines already on your paper before explanations? What is the interval between the BL and the BP? Thank you for the tutorial. You didn't indicate the measurements used in drawing the shoulder bust and waist line
Can I cut the back normal
That is great
thumbs up
How did you get those lines? You haven't explained how because you have started explaining with the lines already on the paper.
Pls kindly explain the difference in putting your bust measurement in the chest line and putting in the bust point line
How many time did you fold the paper
