  • The University of Pittsburgh's Clinical and Translational Science Institute, the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh, the New Pittsburgh Courier, and UPMC's Center for Engagement and Inclusion work together to deliver quality health education on critical public health topics each month through the Community Health Series Partnership.
This April, the Community Health Series Partnership will focus on t he importance of adequate wound care to mitigate infection and other negative health outcomes. We will explore wound care in two different contexts: as a factor in the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers and as a component of harm reduction efforts. Issues of access and education will also be examined.
Join us on April 11th as we hear from Dr. Chandan Sen and Dr. Raagini Jawa, two of the University's most prominent leaders in this space.
