as a definite Katya here, it's difficult to get myself to do sweet f-a in the mornings, so forcing myself to look at the sun for example or whatever have you, is necessary for base function 😆 maybe as a workaholic type vodka mornings have a comparatively minor debuff?

No but what Katya is saying about getting natural sunlight is actually proven by science. Getting out in the sun during the day balances out your circadian rhythm and it makes it easier for your body to pump you full of melatonin which helps you fall asleep in the evening. That's why they recommend daily walks in the sun for people who have insomnia.
My longtime ambition has been to get up with the sun. At the moment, I’m shooting for noon, then I’ll work my way back.

Katya’s sunlight thing has some scientific merit actually. The most light sensitive part of the human body is actually behind the knee and the so the most efficient way to wake yourself up is to expose the back of your knees to sunlight. My degree is in wildlife biology and this is something I learned while studying herpetology and light receptors in primitive eyes and the text mentioned where the most light receptive part of the human body is for comparison. I tried it on my husband one day and he perked right up!
