- Hello friends! Have you also seen this trend going around in our sewing/knitting community lately? I found it so fascinating, yet I realized sometimes it was quite fast so I wanted to slow it down a little and really explain it. I'm not the best at knitting so you will likely have better results than me but I really hope you find this hack useful! How to mend a hole in a knit sweater hack.
My e-course is now up! Click on this link to the course page where you will find the course trailer, additional information, a preview of the curriculum, and of course, the limited-time price of the course!

I love this! It looks so much less annoying and much faster than Swiss darning, which is the technique I learned as a knitter. Here’s a tip: most manufactured sweaters are seamed with a chain stitch in the original yarn! So we can rip out the chain stitch and take the yarn, then sew the seam back again with sewing thread. In most cases, you can iron the yarn to straighten it and make it easier to work with (but don’t iron if the sweater is made of acrylic)!
That's fantastic! I'm going to pin this comment! 🥰 Thanks for sharing 💕
60 years of knitting and crocheting experience, and now I learn this technique that has never occurred to me! Amazing!
I love this too, you are such a talented lady, cheerful too. Love you!
Thank you so much! 😊
Excellent mending! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! ❤
Glad you like it! 🥰
Impressive , looks wonderful 🤩
Thank you! Cheers! 🥰
I wish I had seen your video first before fixing the sweater for someone. None of the other videos explained what they were doing, and many times just skipped important steps. That is why I had to watch so many other videos, multiple times, before I even tried. Now I feel more confident to try more mending with this technique. Thank you!
I'm glad you like it! I knew you would 😊

Thank you for this great video where you explain how to do this technique. I've just mended a pair of handknit wool socks this way 😁 These socks knit by my mom will last a while longer now ❤

Hi!
I've been looking for a Pinaform pattern.
This would make my family and friends happy.
With some people weight yo-yo's.
I think it would be great for you to guide us!

Hi. As I usually make my own patterns, I don’t use too many commercial ones. I’d say anyways, that pretty much all of the pinafore patterns are very similar. I wouldn’t be too concerned choosing one of another.
WOW!!!
🥰🥰🥰
Amazing work. Thank you for sharing 😊
