I loved this video! I would love to see more beginner or getting started videos on KineFX! A lot of us in AR/VR just want a quick, simple, and elegant solution for Characters!
Awesome video, everything crystal clear! By the way, there's any affordable way of limiting joint rotation avoiding modifying quaternion/matrices transformations through vex?
At the moment there is not really any simple way to limit rotations. Apart from using vex/vops the most efficient way would be to modify the viewer state but this is an even more complicated option.
There is currently no built in muscle system for kineFX. You can create the muscles easily enough (you can use geometry, blend shapes, meta-balls ect. ) the most difficult part is applying the deformation. If I get the time I will set something up but I cannot promise anything at the moment.
In Houdini 19+ "Attach Control Geometry" node is deprecated and now it's called "Attach Joint Geo"
