City of Burnside Open Space Layer consultation

The City of Burnside has many wonderful parks and reserves that provide beloved spaces for our community to gather, play and enjoy. Our open spaces are home to sporting clubs, playgrounds, ovals and countless recreational facilities, often all nestled alongside invaluable tree canopy and wildlife habitat.
With our community growing and changing, Council is facing rapidly increasing and sometimes competing demands on our open spaces. Many people have even told us they are missing out.
This is why we are adding an Open Space Layer to our City Master Plan. This will allow Council to holistically manage our parks and reserves and help us balance the many growing needs placed on our open spaces.
