Mine is not a recliner. I bought it at a good deal. Looks new, but when I sat in it after getting it home, the seat sits lower than the ottomon. I guess if it looks or sounds too good to be true, it probably is. But I'm usually a good fixer upper and like to trouble shoot
@aliceowens300 - If the chair is too low because you're sinking down too far into the seat, the seat foam needs to be replaced (check the seat springs, too). If you're looking to increase the height of the chair, La-z-boy used to offer a swivel base with an attached block, that raised the height of the chair ~ 2" or so. If that's what you're looking for, check to see if such a base is still available.
@reclinerrepairguy4155 ok. Thanks. The chair is in great shape. Looks brand new. Just sits too low. I do furniture upholstery, including cushions. I thought I might be able to place some kind of risers under it. Haven't taken it apart yet. Need to troubleshoot. Appreciate your feed back.

I have a very low sitting laxyboy swivel rocker wuth a base like this. It sits very low. Is there a way to adjust the height?
