  • In this episode, we instal the ‪@Auxbeam‬ 8 gauge switch panel which means less wires and a super easy installation. We also instal the Xtrax pro from ‪@UnidenAUS‬. I think we got the mounting correct, might need to hit up ‪@TJANDMAC‬ ;)

    The aerial mount can be done with a bracket that comes out of the bonnet, so that it mounts on the fender about 6 inches back from where your battery is. Best place I’ve found to put it after a few tries.
    Good video! Editing is great too.

      Ohh that sounds great! What is the name of someone who sells the bracket? Im thinking of welding a new antenna tab onto the bar. Appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment!

    How do you connect your high beam trigger through the auxbeam to keep it legal.

    • @JRCadventures
      @JRCadventures  11 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah great question mate! You can set it up with a connection through your high beam as the trigger allowing power through to your Auxbeam. I haven't connected mine up to high beam.

    Could you run the winch through the accessories box thingo and eliminate the isolator for the winch?

    • @JRCadventures
      @JRCadventures  Год назад +1

      Thats a great idea! Hadn't thought of that. Then you don't have to open up the bonnet. I'll look into it. Thanks heaps for watching and commenting!

      @@JRCadventuresHey mate! Love your vids, unsure if you have done the winch yet but be very very careful with removing the isolator switch, during front end crashes the winches short out and ignite into flames very easily, i always recommend driving with it isolated, as well as the fact that it pulls so much power that the internals of the accessory box possibly couldn’t hold. I’m no professional but maybe just look into it. Cheers

      Hey @@brockcooper6234 - thanks heaps for the comment. I 100% agree. The amount of power going through the isolator isn't safe to be running through the switches. I always run with the isolator off and only switch it on when I need it. I also won't change the isolator out to an after market one. Have just stuck with the TJM one.
