    Intriguing premise. Hundreds of hours would go into animating and programing NPCs that merely serve as superficial set dressing for the core game play experience. Yet, NPCs are a form of art unto themselves. Great video that the broader VG analysis audience would enjoy. Hoping my comment swings the algorithm in your favourite.

    The bit at the end, that players and devs should have a tacit agreement not to nitpick just made me think of the flying mammoths in Skyrim. Defs a feature, not a bug.
