Today’s terrifying tale of the macabre is the ‘The Blue Bomber’, an original work by the wonderfully talented The Gigconomist, kindly shared with me via my Dr. Creepen’s Vault sub-r-ddit so that I could narrate it here for you all, with the author’s express permission.

Awesome story. When he said Paotterfield it made me think of old burial grounds for the indigent and destitute folks called potter's fields and I had a good idea where this was going, but it wasn't at all what I expected.
That’s exactly what I thought also, I live in NYC and know if Potters field, actually I’ll probably end up there! But it’s where I expected Jacob mean.

Really cool story, kudos to Gigconomist! So different & original. Makes me wish I had a cool uncle growing up. Reminiscent of John Candy in Uncle Buck or even more so Gary Busey in Silver Bullet! Very well written & had me perched on the edge of my seat along with the kids listening to Uncle Jeff. Perfectly rendered by cool Dad, Dr. Creepen, in an excellent narration pairing akin to a meal paired with the perfect wine. Your children are quite lucky!Loved the ending too. From Ian’s change of heart to his unexpected discovery. Wonderful philosophy as well to keep souvenirs to both remember & honor life’s journey. Thank you both for a terrific tale!

Dude I absolutely love hearing a story from someone who is either just incredibly talented or someone who obviously is some sort of professional writer- this shit was so damn good, particularly in the foreshadowing department
That one was a whopper! Such an excellent story in itself, the author wrote it with the intention of the protagonist, to not actually be the protagonist, sort of. But all parts were fantastic and I wish I’d been at that party! Oh yes, I’d also most likely think that I’d freak out a bit find Jacobs forearm under the seat! Verifiable truth!!

I have a friend who use to have the Windstar from Hell. Called it the Rattlestar. That might not seem that bad really if she'd lived where she does now in Memphis. But at the time she lived in Southern California, home of the Freeway Driver. And believe me, a real Freeway Driver, doesn't drive much different on a regular road. Heck I don't know why there hasn't been creepy pastas about that kinda beast.
