It's really too bad that Michel and Alain don't cook together more often for either TV or RUclips. They are just perfect together.
Absolutely, the "Thank you, Alain!" bit was just great.
I agree, they make a great combination, classic French cuisine with a little humour.

I agree totally, you can just see how much they love what they do for a living. Cooking is their lives. It’s great to watch.
The roux scholarship is awarded to the best alpha male testosterone guys chefs for great Britain 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🎄🎄🎄🇬🇧🇬🇧 congratulations 🎉
Awwww the Jamie Oliver pan
I've got a fair amount of kitchen gear and my Jamie Oliver steel casserole is probably my most used pan...nice that Alain agrees
it would be a honor to wash pots at Le Gavroche & learn to cook from them
I saw an interview with Gary rhodes once who said he applied for an apprenticeship at le gavroche after graduating catering college and was told there is a 2 year waiting list!!
Delicious chef.
we are not worthy thanks chef's we love you
Incredible!
"I'm not a businessman" Pierre gagnaire
Has 13 Michelin stars worldwide and Empire of restaurants'from east to west
True indeed, but at least he’s still in his kitchen attending to the regular services. I always hate it when great chefs leave their restaurants in the hands of their head chefs to go off and do tv programs and, well, be a businessman😂
The prizes... wow
To you yeah but you don't know how much it means to him

Did Alain grow up in France? I realize his father and uncle did, but I thought the two cousins were raised in England. His accent is very French sounding.
According to his Wiki page he worked in France from 16 to 23, and I'm assuming he spent a lot of time there when younger too! But yes he is English.
I -think- he went to a french school and Michel went to a british school...

if you blind bake it that way, isn't the cling film gonna melt? As far as I know, you blind bake a pastry at 180*C and cling film melts at around 120*C
please correct me if I'm wrong
Thanks
quero cozinhar assim também 😃
