This year Mustang looks great. (Better than the new 2024 Mustang IMHO). Yeah, drive these cars!! There's enough of them that remain "collectable" and sitting in some dudes garage under a tarp. I would love to see a wrap done and a wheel refurbish. Those wheels are classic Mustang. 👍

love this GT500. in 1996 i bought a 96 Mustang GT 4.6 L 5 speed manual black on black. loved that mustang but severely underpowered, think it had 210 hp. 🤦‍♂️. but it did have a lot of Torque.

    Clunk Click every trip.
Any car that has done this sort of milage will have worn out suspension parts.
I am sure that Grimes can work his magic on this one, and the silence will be golden.

Order Duplin color for the rust on your hood. It will smooth it out after you pick out the rust. Good stuff.

I'm sorry about the issues with your beautiful Mustang. If you want the Mustang to last, if I were you, I would just take it to your favorite body shop and get the hood repainted because touch up paint won't stop the rust, or get a carbon fiber hood

Great vid. My 07 GT500 is the same color except red and black interior. I’m going to order the plastic door inserts too - those soft inserts are a pain to install.

Those Ford aluminum hoods are notorious for paint bubbling and chipping off. Mine hasn't started yet, but I'll just be touch up painting it as needed. Great that you are enjoying it!

Why don't you take the GT to VanGo and get some paint correction treatment? They could also probably address the door insert issues.

I say do the paint repairs, fix the interior trim, and drive it. Cars like this one are just going to get cooler and more valuable with age, just like the '60's and '70's muscle cars and pony cars did. Happy Trails, enjoy it while you have it!😁

All Mustangs clunk and wobble over bumps, practically when new. The OEM hardware is built to a price point - aftermarket fixes it. :)
The paint issue is unfixable - once galvanic corrosion starts on the aluminum hood, the way to deal with it is a replacement non-aluminum hood. Or just touch it up until it rots out in a year or two. :(

for the hood, thankfully from everything I know it isn't that hard or expensive to fix it permanently, then again you can probably get a used hood and paint or wrap it for the same price to repair it.

Hey. I am sorry to give you criticism. But you are turning your key too fast. You should be waiting a few sec after turning on the ignition before you turn to start. Let the car get all the computers ready. Car Wizard, Do you agree?

And every video you do you breathe extremely heavy? Do you have breathing problems? And if not, you may want to get that checked out. Because in every video you're breathing extremely heavy. Heavier than anybody I know and on a side. Note, you seem like you have a lot of cars. Like every video I watch you have a new car. How many cars do you have?
