Dude, this is such a wild take on an iconic theme! I've heard a decent number of Milk Bar remixes, but never anything even remotely like this - huge props to you for taking such a quaint and jolly tune and turning it into something so metal and hardcore! The sheer intensity in the instrumentation is unmatched, and I have a feeling that all of these guitar parts were performed and recorded by the same guy who also produced those absolutely _sick_ drums! The gritty rhythm parts, those searing melody lines, the blazing bass... all of it sounds so radical, and I especially love when that higher-octave part joins in at 0:17, setting up for those insane countermelodies in the B section. Seriously, I can't get enough of that high guitar part starting at 0:24. Both the performance and arrangement are masterful, and the mixing and effects on the guitars are superb, as well, resulting in a sound that's clean and balanced, yet huge and spacious! And man, those drums! The kit sounds fantastic, and I love these dense and breakneck-pace rhythms, with the double kick pedals, articulate cymbal crashes, and sizzling snare hits. It sounds so authentic, and if you told me that you also recorded those drums with an electronic or mic'ed acoustic kit, I wouldn't doubt it for a second! This remix is short, but oh-so-sweet, and being part of a huge collaborative project makes it that much cooler! That's so awesome that you and other folks in the VGM community all worked together to create such an epic tribute to a timeless series. I'm excited to hear all of the other contributions in your linked video. Once again, amazing work, my friend! 🎸
Thank you so much for the kind words!! It's funny, I originally had an idea for a completely different song but when I was tasked to tackle this one out of a selection of songs, I knew I had to make it unique and so I thought, "Why not make this sound more like a hardcore bar instead of a cozy one?" and came up with this concept! I'm happy to hear that everything came together well overall. I really wanted to nail that intense atmosphere and try my hand at making a better sounding rhythm guitar especially as I felt that really carried the heaviness! Hope you enjoyed the collab too and thank you again!!
Someone may have spiked the milk and gotten everyone to join in Termina's very first mosh pit haha Thank you, this was a lot of fun to make and the tonal shift was definitely an interesting one to implement with this cover!
This cover of Milk Bar is absolutely INSANE! I thoroughly enjoyed this in Hyrule Harmony! You've got some serious talent my friend! :D Keep on shredding! 🔥
It's the milk bar, but a fight broke out... and it's an epic fight. It's fascinating hearing the instrumental change of the originals tinny cymbals yet still being able to recognise the beat. 0:18 - Love the new transitional effect. The original melody had one but it was very brief and subdued. The build up happens sooner and with greater impact. Those slower rolling sounds work wonderfully. 0:32 - The tempo certainly has sped up with the shifts in the tune happening far faster, and again, with more dramatic effect.
Never get between Termina's residence and their milk. You will regret it! Awesome to hear that you enjoyed the transition too! Managed to make this work after some feedback from a couple people to make it sound more hardcore! Thank you very much for the comment, it means a lot! 😄

Oh I love those super tight drums, bass, and rhythm guitar! The lead guitar tone sounds really good, too. Awesome job!
Thank you! This was an interesting yet fun cover to try out so I'm glad you enjoyed it!!
This is what happens when the patrons get a few milk servings in and rush the stage 😁. Great job, it's fun to hear a unique take on this song!

@@dannykmusic812 They've endured a time loop and the moon falling down upon them; getting between them and their milk is a step too far though.
