I don't remember seeing any of the toys back then. Yet somehow when I found out, much later, how out of scale with everything they were I allowed myself to feel a second crushing wave of disappointment. :D There is one other profoundly important thing about some of my toys and comics. I get to share with my (adopted) son -- who is Native American -- why Bravestarr, Blackstar, and some of the X-Men were just so very, very cool. He turned 21 this year and, though he struggled with it for quite a while, I believe that it's his sense of otherness and understanding real representation that led him to fully accept my transition. He wishes me happy Mothers' Day and after our shared birthday party thanked me for stepping in to be his other mom. He's an amazing young man, but of course I'd say that. $#!+. Im about to start crying. But in a really great, beautiful way. So anyways thanks again, and also for your patience; I once again seem to be babbling due to insomnia. 😂😂 Rein it in, CJ....
As you said it was such a weird toy strategy for Bravestarr. I remember being a big fan of the cartoon, but finding it really difficult to find any toys from the show. All I ended up getting was the toy gun and my brother had the Deputy Fuzz figure, but I knew nobody who ever found or had the main figures (Bravestarr, Tex Hex) despite it being a really popular show among the kids I knew.
Vipra! Was wondering when you'd make a video of her... hmmm... wanna help me with a Bravestarr video to be released soon? 😅 Anyway... let's hope Ramen makes the move to expand the Bravestarr line to get a figure of her and JB as it'd probably be the same figure buck.
There was another woman, Miss Jenny, who was the school marm. like Stage coach Molly and Commander Karen Kane, she only appeared in a few episodes.

Yeah it's a show me and all my friends loved but like NO ONE had the toys
