1440p / 144-165hz or so is the sweet spot, People have to understand your running @ 1440p / 165hz and high - ultra settings. All 3 can be demanding. Same with 4k / 144-165hz / high ultra settings which is extremely more demanding 1440p looks nice to, Its not low as 1080p and not as high as 4k but right in the middle which allows higher refresh rates and higher quality settings. Good balance between the 3. Solid resolution, Refresh rates and Quality settings.

I have the same setup, but why do you have one neat thin wiring from the gpu plug? Mine is a short loom with 4 big bulky connectors... am i missing something?
newer 3.0 psu's come with that cable, some older psu's are supported, you have to check what you have with the manufacturer,, or get one from cable mod
I'm in the market for this same card, and my research shows that it uses a 16-Pin Cable and ASUS recommends a 1000W Power Supply. If you're going to pick one of these up, I HIGHLY recommend getting a new PSU that's made for the 4000 Series GPU's, as the 4090 is very power hungry (TDP is 450W alone for this GPU).

Thats the included adapter you are referring to, no cable. You can buy proper cables for 20-40£ depending on manufacturer.
