tips for game designers. if you must have a long challenge with no checkpoint, don't put the hardest part at the end. put the hardest part in the middle. ramp up and then cool down. peaks and valleys. it's less frustrating that way.

Came for the super cool infinite mario 64, stayed for the peach tick and live2d mika 64 gems I feel like this video made me experience every major emotion.
During the 3D Mario 64 thing, I grabbed a pair of anaglyph 3D glasses to check out how the 3D effect looks. It works, and when things are in the correct positions it looks pretty cool/good (for anaglyph at least). However, as objects/characters move closer to or farther away from the camera, the 3D effect distorts. So it can often be hard to look at when some of the things on the screen look good 3D, but some of the other things on the screen are in the wrong positions and have a distorted 3D effect
The analog stick notches would be great for VR controllers and WASD-locomotion; unlimited granularity makes for some weird swaying (and thus nauseating) movement.
In the Mario 2 game, that first pot you go inside has a bombable floor just like the normal game. I always wished you could get down there because there has to be something. I know there's not going to be but as a kid I see the bombable blocks and figured some big secret was there.
