Modern evolution of agricultural extension

In this episode, we’re going to give you a brief overview of the modern evolution of agricultural extension during the last 50 years. This will highlight the different approaches over time and will hopefully illustrate that we shouldn’t throw the baby out with the bathwater.

nice to follow and understand the evolution of extension.however you seem to focus mainly on the developed world .how about experiences in the developing world like in my experience evolution of extension in africa and particularly in zimbabwe.at least i then can not only follow and appreciate but also add my voice and comments to enrich the discussions.thanks once more for opening my view and helping my understanding on the evolution of extension

Yes, we are speaking from our experience in Australia and New Zealand. We understand that many developing countries have moved from the transfer of technology approach to an agricultural innovation systems approach. @@JohnJamesEnablersOfChange thanks for your reply and the link.iam keenly interested in the areas of agricultural extension and rural development .iam doing my post graduate research on the farmer perceptions on agricultural extension and advisory services .i work in the public extension system in zimbabwe .would also appreciate your help in publishing some articles on my findings in agriculture extension or rural development journals.iam doing a masters in development studies
