I dont't get some fans, Arsenal FC may not be Arsene FC but he is our most successful manager and transformed our club to what it is today. We may never win the Premier League again with Arsene but even so, I am willing to stick with him as our manager until he decides his time is up. We gotta show some class and loyalty as fans to someone that have contributed so much to the club. Arsene Wenger is more than just a manager at our club.
He's a visionary. He sacrificed his rep in 06 when he stayed on knowing that stadium would hinder our finances. If he left he we could have ended up like Liverpool. He is now building a good team., I'm confident he will leave us with a team better than ever. We won't have to see a massive rebuild like United.
+ohdeat and here we are today; where it seems Arsene has an incredible chance to add another Premier League title to his legacy.. He is simply a top quality manager
Guess what happened?
They bottled the league! maybe something this year.
Its very sad to see him leave this way. His departure is preceded by nothing but a consequence of a pathetic group of abusive fans inspired by a so called shitty "FanTV" taking it to the next level which happened to be instrumental to the very popular british press/media culture in propelling this into a whole new headline which resulted in the creation of this poisonous atmosphere that we've been experiencing of late and has been absolutely detrimental to the spirit, desire and confidence of the entire teams progression. Like it or not Arsenal today is all Arsene Wenger and to see them part ways all of a sudden really worries me. I worry because I literally do not know what Arsenal is going to be without Arsene. As a life long Arsene & Arsenal lover, supporter and fan, I will always continue my support for him, follow him and back him no matter what wherever he decides to go.
What an interesting interview. You really develop a respect for the guy after learning where he came from and how he built a legacy
Arsene speaking French...I could listen to it forever
French for sure but he speaks german too!
Wenger is an Icon, he left a mark at least. Let haters hate, but in his spirit, he knows he is successful, Now I also believe so. Those who dislike do not have a vision to leave a mark, or are incapable.
He has won 6x FA Cups and 3x Premier Leagues, he is definitely successful. Arsene Wenger also helped make Thierry Henry and Van Persie great players.
Very true.., for his 20 years (2 Decades) at arsenal, the club has never missed champions league, the revenues must have double tripled!! He built the Emirates Stadium fro the Higburry, and many other achievements, let Wenger be Wenger!
Yada Samuel I consider Arsene more of a player developer than a title winner. He helped make Henry, Van Persie, Berkgamp and Fabregas great players.
Alsatians are proud of him
(From a RC Strasbourg fan obviously)
Total respect from a Spurs fan
As an Arsenal fan, total respect to your team. Especially since Tottenham is clearly better than us currently.
Respect to you bro.....I've never bought into this deadly rivalry between Spurs and Arsenal....when I was a kid I was a gooner while my older bro was a Spurs fan.......great new stadium ...trust you guys to make it bigger than the emirates !!!!!!
No wonder every player comes away from working with him saying he's the boss , 2nd father ECT he seems like he cares so much about getting the best out of people and puts such trust in them . There's only one arsene wenger !!
All the fans that have to youtube the videos of Arsene wenger in his first 9 years of success to see how incredible he is need to watch this to learn how to respect him now just cause they started watching/Supporting Arsenal in the ransition of rebuilding Arsenal football club and suffering the loss of key players and finding gems on the cheap.
Thanks for the efforts to making English subtitles!
Arsene has always done what is best for the club. When we were paying off the stadium and had a tiny transfer budget, Arsene made sure we finished in the top 4 and got us champions league. I don't think Fergie could have even done that. What a fantastic manager he is and should be hailed for everything he has done for this club. Without him we would not be where we are today. Truly one of the greatest.
Ferguson won the league when his stadium was being rebuilt.
Rebuilt my arse. Try building a whole new stadium with a shoe string transfer budget.
That's indeed an achievement. Now we have paid off the debt and the club is financially due to rising ticket costs. Now is the time to invest in new players and push the team to be a club competing for the title. Which so far I respect him has failed to do.
Spot on Ferguson or Mourinho could never have been so successful on such a limited budget
the Emirates Stadium should be renamed Arsène stadium or Le Professeu stadium it's he's legacy
The bank didn't want to lend us money unless they got assurances that he was going to be around for a 'while'. He made that stadium.
Arsene Wenger has been in the game for so long. How come nobody mentioned about him getting a knighthood now that Sir Alex Ferguson had retired?
***** Arsene Wenger's legacy is the Emirates stadium and the financial stability that it provides the club now and into the future. Arsenal's current financial success was linked primarily to the managerial success of the team achieving champions league qualification every year since Wenger's reign which essentially helped to provide a substantial portion of the necessary funds used to finance the stadium construction as well as pay off a large portion of the stadium debt which now stands at less than half of what it was originally and is quite easily at a manageable level. Champions league qualification for at least the first 8 years of the initial loan period was part of the minimum requirements expected by the banking institutions that originally lent the money to build the stadium back in the mid 2000's and as you well know cl qualification was never guaranteed and shouldn't be taken for granted. CL qualification was also a minimum requirement by the club's major sponsors and non qualification for cl would have been disastrous for Arsenal. Man United being out of cl for one year as an example a quote from accounting firm Deloitte re Man United's estimated financial losses is as follows "No Champions League football will cost £50m- 10% of annual revenue " Many multi billion dollar corporations have failed since the 2008 global financial crisis such as the much publicized banking failures of major banks like Lehman bros NY, Wachovia Bank NC and Northern Rock UK. Arsenal is financially stable now but nothing was ever guaranteed just ask the fans of all of the other failed clubs that had invested their hard earned money into the clubs they had supported like Portsmouth, Leeds United and all of the other clubs that graced the premier league over the last 25 years and have either been made bankrupt or relegated into obscurity ironically this is what the financial fair play rules were meant to prevent once implemented but have been recently relaxed. Arsene Wenger's Management of Arsenal FC over the last 18 years and counting has been priceless and as an Arsenal fan I am forever grateful to him.

Name a stand after him. I know you guys have North Bank and Clock End. Could name the East or West stand after him.
quelle classe ,quelle charisme chez ce monsieur, un model dans le monde du foot et en dehors, j'adore cet homme
What an incredible story. Much respect to Arsène Wenger. Most successful manager in Arsenal's history.
not an aresenal fan...but this guy is a true world great
I have a theory about Alex Ferguson, i think he knew the team he had was quit thin in terms of talent, his decision to quit was so sudden, like he knew that winning the premier league that year might well have been the last for a while and he called time, leaving david moyes with a piss poor team of players, wenger however has stuck through the bad times and the team he is currently building is one of the better ones we've had, meaning that when he does step down, we will have a great team there ready for the next manager to take over, he loves arsenal and i love him, I'm so grateful for what he has done for us, It's actually sickening to hear 'arsine out' supporters, he deserves so much respect, the worst part is that a lot of the fans against arsene are too young to remember all of what he's done and they are from some far away country like Iran
Proud of Arsène Wenger
I'm Alsatian and Arsène has rising in a little village and i was a farmer this is real Alsatian !

One Arsene Wenger, of course you will leave a big legacy at Arsenal like Johan Cruyff did at Barcelona. COYG
A great video for the young stupid fans who know nothing about this man but just the struggles we went through in the 10 years of paying off that stadium. People say football is about winning trophies but I highly disagree. I've always been a person who believes in a certain philosophy and I go for it just like Wenger. I highly respect the man. He is the embodiment of a quote from Oscar Wilde: "Ridicule is the tribute paid to the genius by the mediocrities".
Wenger is a great manager for Arsenal.
+slyarsenal The day he retires I'll legit cry, I'm 26 years old my earliest memories of The Arsenal Football Club are with Wenger. Wengerball is all I know. Of course the club is bigger than everyone working for it, but Wenger through his methods, his philosophy and mentality shaped the way the club has been for two decades now. He's one of the few human beings on this planet that I truly admire.
ds37 You spoke my mind.
Totally well said 👏 👍
A fantastic human being
I have my name on facebook and twitter as "wenger son" that's how much I love him.

An absolute LEGEND! In Arsene we trust COYG
Legend...Enough said...
Arsène WENGER is an Alsatian type, hardworking, committed, persevering, modest but also tetu(?). He did not forget where he came from, he came to inaugurate the football stadium in Duttlenheim, which now bears his name.
In Alsace, we know that he is a great gentleman and we all hope, one day, that he will come to the Racing Club of Strasbourg.
Long live Arsène.
Arsene merci u made amazing for my Arsenal
Strange, I've never heard him speak French before now.
At the 15th minute: The presenter asks him:
''Do you dream of immortality, Arsene?''
=Regardless of his answer, he and Sir Alex Ferguson are already immortals.. They will be.. in our minds, in our souls, in the history of sport..
Pure class
Respect from man u fans boss
Arsene Wengers magic
I heard that Arsene Wenger sent a postcard to Eric Cantona on his holiday at Egypt.
Merci Arsene
Great interview, thanks for the translations. I have to say the host is annoying, thinks he knows more about Wenger than he knows himself. If he gave Wenger time or asked to, Wenger would elaborate in more detail some things. It's like the host wanted to say everything he knows about Wenger
I can't wait until Arsene Wenger goes Ancelotti has been remade to take over the sooner the better
aresene wenger i the greatest manager a club could ask for and we at the ARSENAL love him very much and are extremely proud of him.
but listen to him speak fwench is a bit weird. lol
#THERESONLYONEARSENEWENGER
Whats the song at beggining?
Duke Dumont - I Got U
Thanks :)
To be honest even since 06 if we had not sold our best players and kept them together we would of had our very own galacticos, then you would have seen them wax lyrical of "sir" arsene.
When he talks about people dancing in different ways, you would think he was saying "When I was dancing back in 1920...."...it was only the 70s, I think young people danced not THAT much different to now, I mean not the waltz!! :o)
couldnt understand is but could tell the interviewer was poor at his job, arsene was as cool as ever though.
Bad presenter. Kept interrupting him.
+Jack Morningstar and he was clearly very excited to talk to him , that awkward loud laugh made me feel uncomfortable ..
I heard that some Arsenal players got lost while driving in their cars after thinking of Arsene Wenger's wrinkles.
he has a french accent when he speaks french too
+benvolio mozart yup not as strong as some of the people who live there since he's been abroad for many years but still it's there.
Accent alsacien comme Loeb !!
Even though hes French , its weird to hear him speak it!
I never knew Wenger could speak French!?
DiscoBiscuits il est français.
English Sarcasm darling
weird to hear him speak French.

Stupid.. This criticism of Arsenal FC.. Spuds and Liverpool fans need to looking themselves in the mirror.. When did they last won a trophy?? Ridiculous.. 1 season then spurs have overtaken Arsenal as a shift in power lol lol.. P merson is a Muppet.. Better you shut up. This Wenger think is awful how he is being treated in England by the press and some called experts.. Yes I know he is French but hello wake up!! 3 FA cup wins in the last 4 season is very impressive.. Arsenal have all so been consistently in the top 4 in league.. Greetings from Norway
Spouting bollocks as normal. Get him out of Arsenal.
