I dont't get some fans, Arsenal FC may not be Arsene FC but he is our most successful manager and transformed our club to what it is today. We may never win the Premier League again with Arsene but even so, I am willing to stick with him as our manager until he decides his time is up. We gotta show some class and loyalty as fans to someone that have contributed so much to the club. Arsene Wenger is more than just a manager at our club.

He's a visionary. He sacrificed his rep in 06 when he stayed on knowing that stadium would hinder our finances. If he left he we could have ended up like Liverpool. He is now building a good team., I'm confident he will leave us with a team better than ever. We won't have to see a massive rebuild like United.

Its very sad to see him leave this way. His departure is preceded by nothing but a consequence of a pathetic group of abusive fans inspired by a so called shitty "FanTV" taking it to the next level which happened to be instrumental to the very popular british press/media culture in propelling this into a whole new headline which resulted in the creation of this poisonous atmosphere that we've been experiencing of late and has been absolutely detrimental to the spirit, desire and confidence of the entire teams progression. Like it or not Arsenal today is all Arsene Wenger and to see them part ways all of a sudden really worries me. I worry because I literally do not know what Arsenal is going to be without Arsene. As a life long Arsene & Arsenal lover, supporter and fan, I will always continue my support for him, follow him and back him no matter what wherever he decides to go.

Wenger is an Icon, he left a mark at least. Let haters hate, but in his spirit, he knows he is successful, Now I also believe so. Those who dislike do not have a vision to leave a mark, or are incapable.

Very true.., for his 20 years (2 Decades) at arsenal, the club has never missed champions league, the revenues must have double tripled!! He built the Emirates Stadium fro the Higburry, and many other achievements, let Wenger be Wenger!

Arsene has always done what is best for the club. When we were paying off the stadium and had a tiny transfer budget, Arsene made sure we finished in the top 4 and got us champions league. I don't think Fergie could have even done that. What a fantastic manager he is and should be hailed for everything he has done for this club. Without him we would not be where we are today. Truly one of the greatest.

That's indeed an achievement. Now we have paid off the debt and the club is financially due to rising ticket costs. Now is the time to invest in new players and push the team to be a club competing for the title. Which so far I respect him has failed to do.

***** Arsene Wenger's legacy is the Emirates stadium and the financial stability that it provides the club now and into the future. Arsenal's current financial success was linked primarily to the managerial success of the team achieving champions league qualification every year since Wenger's reign which essentially helped to provide a substantial portion of the necessary funds used to finance the stadium construction as well as pay off a large portion of the stadium debt which now stands at less than half of what it was originally and is quite easily at a manageable level. Champions league qualification for at least the first 8 years of the initial loan period was part of the minimum requirements expected by the banking institutions that originally lent the money to build the stadium back in the mid 2000's and as you well know cl qualification was never guaranteed and shouldn't be taken for granted. CL qualification was also a minimum requirement by the club's major sponsors and non qualification for cl would have been disastrous for Arsenal. Man United being out of cl for one year as an example a quote from accounting firm Deloitte re Man United's estimated financial losses is as follows "No Champions League football will cost £50m- 10% of annual revenue " Many multi billion dollar corporations have failed since the 2008 global financial crisis such as the much publicized banking failures of major banks like Lehman bros NY, Wachovia Bank NC and Northern Rock UK. Arsenal is financially stable now but nothing was ever guaranteed just ask the fans of all of the other failed clubs that had invested their hard earned money into the clubs they had supported like Portsmouth, Leeds United and all of the other clubs that graced the premier league over the last 25 years and have either been made bankrupt or relegated into obscurity ironically this is what the financial fair play rules were meant to prevent once implemented but have been recently relaxed. Arsene Wenger's Management of Arsenal FC over the last 18 years and counting has been priceless and as an Arsenal fan I am forever grateful to him.

I have a theory about Alex Ferguson, i think he knew the team he had was quit thin in terms of talent, his decision to quit was so sudden, like he knew that winning the premier league that year might well have been the last for a while and he called time, leaving david moyes with a piss poor team of players, wenger however has stuck through the bad times and the team he is currently building is one of the better ones we've had, meaning that when he does step down, we will have a great team there ready for the next manager to take over, he loves arsenal and i love him, I'm so grateful for what he has done for us, It's actually sickening to hear 'arsine out' supporters, he deserves so much respect, the worst part is that a lot of the fans against arsene are too young to remember all of what he's done and they are from some far away country like Iran

A great video for the young stupid fans who know nothing about this man but just the struggles we went through in the 10 years of paying off that stadium. People say football is about winning trophies but I highly disagree. I've always been a person who believes in a certain philosophy and I go for it just like Wenger. I highly respect the man. He is the embodiment of a quote from Oscar Wilde: "Ridicule is the tribute paid to the genius by the mediocrities".
