This is an interesting and valid question. I'll try to answer it, even though I'm not part of the inflatable community myself. I only own one inflatable, which was given to me as a gift. So please correct me if I'm wrong. In general, you can attend the convention and participate in all panels without a fursuit. Inflatables are no exception, and you can admire them and even sit or lie on them without a fursuit, as long as there's no risk of causing damage. Since the inflatables are brought by the participants, the owners usually keep an eye on their works of art and will warn you if something is dangerous. When in doubt, you can always ask the owner for advice on how and where best to sit on the inflatable. This is a great way to get to know people and learn more about the community and the hobby.
