I think it would've been cool if Sweden got the option to make a big germanic culture group, like Russia get's with the slavic cultures instead of just getting rid of unaccepted culture penalties.
When i recently did my sweden campaign i was massively surprised by just how much imperial authority growth you can get with their missions, it let me revoke only a few decades after winning the league war.
Gaining independence without allies grants: 25 prestige, 200 splendor, 10 legitimacy, 100 monarch power each. +100 relation with denmarks rivals (which stacks). +100 with Poland makes it much easier to get elected to PU them.
I moved the capital to Dalaskogen after the War of Independence and concentrated development there and at the end of the party one Dalaskogen gave 50 ducats
I am playing France into emperor right now and damn it is so op. Not even revoke going slow just to see having emperor title not trying to pass reforms and man so awesome I am going to try Sweden next thanks😊
@@lookasetbellaSwitzerland, they have merc ideas, missions, government reform at lvl 1 and another one later, even events which buff mercenaries permanently. You can then form another country and keep the events ideas missions ect.
If I remember correctly, no, I became Emperor after the overthrow of the Catholics as the leader of the league. Then I joined the Empire, because the Emperor can do that.

It depends on what you played for. It wasn't a "conquer everything quickly" campaign, etc. I've had enough of those so far. Poland without Lithuania is not worth PU.
Improve relations with czec republic? Never mind that they are a kingdom and even if you wanted to call them by their modern name they changed it officially to Czecia a couple of years ago.

I haven't had a chance to play the new France to become the HRE Emperor yet.
Also after Switzerland, Sweden is one of the few countries that makes Merc ideas well worth it

You release a specific province as a free country, not your vassal. Then I conquered them and made them my vassal.
