How do you feel about homeschool languages as the parent? Did you have experience in Spanish before? I’m nervous I would mispronounce something.
I have 2 years of high school Spanish class under my belt from a LONG time ago 😂. So I know basics, but that’s about it - I’m actually learning a lot alongside my girls! I really love the way it is organized and they script it for the parents (it truly holds your hand so you are very natural when teaching your kiddo). They have a ton of written and auditory options to understand how the words are pronounced: 1) They have written pronunciation guides and 2) bit.ly links to auditory files you can listen to to hear the proper pronunciation. I would take 5 minutes before the lesson to listen to or read out the pronunciations but then you can also play them for your kiddos in the lesson! I chose this curriculum for its ease of use as someone who doesn’t know the language, but wants to learn it alongside my kids so that we can speak it together! 🥰

Also I’m excited to see how you like the Me and My Amazing Body. I decided to hold off since our science next year from Elemental Science goes over human body.
Hi there! My oldest has been doing copy work 1x a week this year and more of a Charlotte Mason style Narration 1x a week as well. So taking that into consideration and the fact that she will be a very young 2nd grader, we are going to start at the beginning with Writing with Ease (worse case I can bump her up to level 2 if we find it’s too easy).
The girls can’t wait to get started on Me and My Amazing Body (and frankly neither can I 😂)! I’ll definitely be doing a video on how it goes for y’all! I think we are going to get started with Elemental Sciences 4 year rotation too (start with Biology) after this upcoming year (25-26 school year)!
Also, too funny, my daughter is refusing to take the break from AG History that I planned on this summer😆 It’s such a winner

I don’t yet, but I am going to make one in the next 2-3 weeks now that this school year is over after next Friday! 🥰 ultimately it was due to various reasons (some stronger than others), but now that we have been doing it for a year I have so many more additional reasons that we will continue to homeschool! 🥰
