I found the chapters in ruclips.net/user/postUgkxYGamVaHfdHiPlAQaLa7zkwR02OKpGYDU to be very relevant to my project as I embarked on building my first ever structure from the ground up. I especially found this Ryan’s Shed Plans to be of great use when it came to building the roof. I was able to do all the cuts and installation by myself, with a little reference to this Ryan’s Shed Plans.
I love the way that he says “I’ll learn about that next week” cuz it’s totally and completely possible to do it.. no limits, nothing is holding him back! 😊
This guy is absolutely adorable. I'm old enough to be his mother but I love watching his building videos; it makes me feel like I could do this too. I don't have any personal experience with/\ building big things, but I've always liked putting things together and I'm obsessed with miniature things. Because of this, the Tiny Living movement really spoke to me, and I need to hear things like "Even if you don't know what you're doing, the best thing to do is just START". I've felt so overwhelmed by all the things I"ll have to do/learn and it paralyzes me; so I've got a 35 ft bus and a 30 ft RV that are both bare, Demo is easy but the rebuilding is where I'm stuck.
Wow!! Good for you!! I feel the same way you do. The difference is that I haven't made efforts to do anything about it. Lol You're already two vehicles way ahead of me!! Good luck to you!! I hope you do a video of your builds at some point! Would love to see what you come up with!!
I have construction experience and let me tell you, you have far exceeded my experience by yourself your first time. The layout for the tiny home was very well thought out. Absolutely great use of space and the solar power is 100% what anyone should do when building a tiny home whether it is mobile or not. Fantastic job 👌🏻 I am now a subscriber. I wish I had the money to build my double loft, french door tiny home because I'd contact you to come help me out if possible lol. 🤜🏻🤛🏻
I think it needs a Vapor Barrier on the warm in winter side. He said they were having snow, so it must be cold. Condensation could be an issue. Two coats of Oil paint would act as a vapor barrier.
I also have construction experience. Since it's on a trailer exposed to the elements, all the framing should be Pressure Treated. Studs, corners & rafters should be tied down with TECO brackets.
I’m doing my tiny house a little differently- converting an old shed I bought into a house- and both of your videos are super helpful! I love how you simply explain things, especially mentioning names and processes

Seeing you succeed gives me confidence, thank you for sharing your journey with us!
Love that you wired it like a real house to gain the experience. Also put one on input to inverter from the battery matching the capacity to max current draw of inverter.. This will enable you to isolate the panels and the inverter if when working on your system.
Stumbled upon your tiny house build two weeks ago, and wow it was awesome... seeing it done today it's mind boggling! It looks fantastic and I'm really happy for you. You should definitely drive it around for a year before you Airbnb it and post videos from your journey! :D

Awesome job! One thing, if you’re going to move around a lot, please check the wheel bearings on the trailer. These are often overlooked and can be a disaster if they fail.
I don't usually watch a video without skipping (or fast forward it), let alone leave a comment, but it was just really enjoyable from start to finish. This is only my second video of yours that i have watched, so keep it up! I really hope there will be updates of the tiny house in the near future.
This is a beautiful tiny home. You are a very intelligent, witty, and hard working young man. God bless you David. You can build these for a living, or consult with people to help them design theirs!
The moment you painted the exterior with black and matched it with wood, there is only one thing I have in mind, it's so cool! It made it look like a high-end tiny house!
Oh my GAWSH I love this kid . I don’t know how the water will work I’ll learn about it next week . Kid you’re a smart guy! Keep making videos !! We all love you !
Dear David Rule, I think your off-grid tiny home looks absolutely fantastic, I think if people are going to make ant comments, it's really because they actually like it if not love it as I do, this means you can travel all over the country side, have a blast and as always stay safe, safe travels take care all the very best, well done beautiful awesome home I love it 🙏❤😘💜❤
Bro I don’t normally laugh at videos but you had me dying with some of your jokes 🤣 aside from the comedy, the video was super informational and inspiring! So impressive you learned all those skills to build your tiny home!
@@davidmrule , just wonderful David! I ♥this tiny home & you're very funny "big booty babes".😂I even like the fact that kitty made a brief appearance & let's face it "5 yr old David" was adorable. ^_^ It was very entertaining and interesting watching you start with the trailer and make it to this point! Personally I would've wanted a dry toilet but this still works & the fact that you have most everything a small caravan has & yet all of this you built yourself! It really is inspiring and tho it still costs some $$$, I'm honestly amazed at just how much $$$ it costs to BUY basically a "tiny home on wheels" when many are going for $40,000 to $100,000+ and yet you made your own "tiny home on wheels" for a fraction of that. I ♥the wood/cedar & frankly I like the black exterior color with the wood. To me it looks more like a high-end, custom product. And what a nice print/story with the giraffes & volcano, I wondered about it earlier on obviously not knowing the backstory. Anyway, looking forward to the next video and hopefully 2023 will be a much better year for all of us!
This is amazing! Im in construction and to see someone with no experience do this makes me really happy cause truthfully anyone who puts there mind to it can also this this. Keep up the great work!
He has to have some experience. His knowledge of how things work in a lot of these areas would be almost impossible for a layperson to just figure out willy nilly.
His personality is infectious! I am in my 70s, so when I say he is adorable it’s coming from a grandma type. My husband is an architect and has been involved in every aspect of building and construction. This young man is pretty impressive and he’s adorable.
This is such a gorgeous build! Also, this is undoubtedly the most entertaining build video ever made! What a great personality and sense of humor! I also love the way he earned the money to pay for his tiny home. Well done!
Hey David, thank you so much for taking us along and sharing this experience with you. Your jokes and your editing made this a pleasant video, or let's say movie, to watch. I'm so glad that the first video did so well, so you are already making profit. God bless!
Hey dude! I am from Bangladesh. I saw your previous video about this Tiny home. You was making the frame and others stuffs. Believe me or not , I was waiting for this to be done. Today you have done it. Yeah you have made it. You have completed your dream. I, myself also dream for having this kind of life. But as being an ordinary Asian kid, it won't be possible here. Mass population, peoples mentality, ability to afford, lands for camping etc.. are the main obstacles. But seeing you doing this is another level of satisfaction. Best of luck.
Aww thanks so much for the support! And I bet, I'm definitely fortunate having grown up where I did. I'm currently in southeast asia and there's plenty of areas around here where tiny homes wouldn't work. Glad you liked it!
Try doing it on a boat/ship near Sundoorbons. You can connect more boats or upper levels as you get more money. I think someone did something similar and made it into an Airbnb, but I forgot the name.
I first watched the original build video right after it came out and was immediately obsessed with tiny home and vanlife videos and now 7 months later I have a plan to make my dreams a reality! Thanks man
Wow, this suburban vacation cottage video is truly a masterpiece! 🏡💡 Every little corner of the house reflects special care and creativity. I am especially impressed with how you have utilized every small space to create a comfortable and convenient living space. From the furniture to the kitchen and bathroom corners, everything is designed with intelligence and space saving in mind.
Honestly, I don't know why its YOUR channel, but its really making me want to be more creative and go outside my boundaries, like your initiative to this project started on. Just a wing it and learn as you go sort of mentality. I might be typing this in the wrong context since this is just one of MANY, many DIY builds and projects- But your tiny home build is a real breath of fresh air and positivity. Really giving me some initiative to do more with my time. Thanks man, I'm Subscribed.
very cool build. Just a suggestion if you havent done so yet, you need to solder the ends of your stranded electrical wires and then crimp on a lug before attaching to your terminal bar. The way you had it connected is not a solid connection and may wiggle out over time, not to mention is a fire hazard. Maybe someone has already suggested and you took care of it.
Bro you're so positive, this was super inspiring. I have no building experience but I started saving recently, here in a few years I'm gonna build one like this for me and my girl
That's amazing how you did all that at your young age. Kids today have so much opportunities that I never had growing up learning all these different things.
From musician to RUclipsr, this is amazing! I've stayed in a tiny house with my fam before, so seeing one actually being created is awesome! Can't wait to see your channel grow!
Amazing! Your tiny house on wheels looks beautiful! You put a lot of effort into it, it's very impressive that you built this all by yourself! For someone who has almost no house building experience, you did an amazing job!
This is entertaining, informative and motivating. You probably could host a series about ppl who build their own homes all over...but for real this is incredible
Gosh is there anything that David can't do! So he can build a tiny home, fit it out, film & edit amazing RUclips videos, he's articulate, humorous and is so entertaining to watch. New subscriber here who's going to binge watch all his previous videos 😀🙃😉
the more I watch this guy the more i like him! he's got such "himbo but actually really smart" energy, it's super cute. also it's really inspiring to watch him figure things out one by one even though i have no intention of doing anything with this sense of inspiration
love that you didn't add one of those useless sofas area but a proper desktop area to get some work done, one could probably live in one of these for a long time, the shower near the kicthen sink is also a nice touch
Ive watched manyyyy tiny home builds and this one might be my fave !!!!! It has that simple feel to it while still being really practical and beautiful. Well done !!!
I'm Kenyan.....and I loveeee tiny houses. It's my dream to own one. Anyway how I love your jokes you make it look super easy to build. I love your tiny house it's beautiful.......
I'm really enjoying this video! Great job! May I suggest (If you haven't already) go back and put some ring terminals on your wires for the fuse block. It'll look much cleaner and give you a much more solid electrical connection. Cheers!
What an impressive build! Your parents must be so proud of you! So smart and accomplished at such a young age! You are going to have(already have) such an amazing life! Thanks for sharing with us. Jane in SC ❤🙏
David, I've watched many tiny house, RV and trailer building videos over the past three years, and yours is the best by far! Besides being very informative, along with good production and editing, both parts were incredibly entertaining; I laughed out loud many times and really appreciated your sense of humor. (And I'm old enough to be your grandpa). Anyway, great job! I'm now a subscriber to your channel and look forward to more of your videos. Thanks and please keep them coming!
This is what I'm talking about! Tiny homes run up to 200,000. They started out @15,000. Thank you so much! We'll never have a tiny home but hopefully others will see this & realize you don't have to spend 50,000.
I think people prey on some folks inability to hunt down a bargain. I love tiny homes for the footprint but you can get a used manufactured home down here in Mississippi for around that price. People can definitely get a nice home for less than $50k. The Boxabl Casita sells for around that but looks to come pretty ready to sail from what I've seen. He did an amazing job of breaking the work down and I think the knowledge gained is priceless. I think corporations are going to make it increasingly harder for 1st time homeowners to purchase starter homes until everyone is renting. If you do the math, the real estate on the earth is finite as our population continues to grow. Owning you some land should be a consistent conquest before this sorta thing happens. Kudos to you for starting at such a young age. 💯
In Finland, when we make wet rooms, we put about 4mm of waterproofing and reinforcement strips in every corner so that the corners don't unravel. But all in all, an incredibly cool project you have 👍 Well done 👌
Mannn!! Loved everything about it. You have a unique way to make your videos fun, entertaining and connect with people at the same time. This video was also educational, it teaches how to be autonomous and realize that you have so much more creative power than you believe you have.

Awesome job! One thing, if you’re going to move around a lot, please check the wheel bearings on the trailer. These are often overlooked and can be a disaster if they fail.
Yes!!!
I don't usually watch a video without skipping (or fast forward it), let alone leave a comment, but it was just really enjoyable from start to finish. This is only my second video of yours that i have watched, so keep it up! I really hope there will be updates of the tiny house in the near future.
Agree I really want to see new videos and this Is my second video of him
This is a beautiful tiny home.
David - What an amazing role model for not being daunted by what you don't know how to do. Motivation and persistance got it done. And what a jewel!!
Oh my GAWSH I love this kid . I don’t know how the water will work I’ll learn about it next week . Kid you’re a smart guy! Keep making videos !! We all love you !
One step at a time, lol
Dear David Rule, I think your off-grid tiny home looks absolutely fantastic, I think if people are going to make ant comments, it's really because they actually like it if not love it as I do, this means you can travel all over the country side, have a blast and as always stay safe, safe travels take care all the very best, well done beautiful awesome home I love it 🙏❤😘💜❤
How do you have only 90k subscribers. You are so talented. I can’t believe you did electrical, plumbing, and heat and air all in. THIS IS AMAZING ❤
He does not ask (beg) for subscribers the way others do. He should.
Well apparently he got 24k subs in less than two weeks

Bro I don’t normally laugh at videos but you had me dying with some of your jokes 🤣 aside from the comedy, the video was super informational and inspiring! So impressive you learned all those skills to build your tiny home!
Thanks man! It’s come a long ways since when you last saw it!
He is literally so unfunny

God bless!
Glad ya liked it!
Young dude is a genius. Can't imagine doing 1/10 of the work here. Tons of patience and creativity.
I absolutely loved this video! It’s so well done and I can tell you put a lot of work into making it! Way to go David! 11:14am
Ayyyy it's the momma, thank ya!
You have the coolest kiddo Mamma Rule!
@@AmenbrThanks! I totally agree! Think I’ll keep him!😂
Karen, I haven't seen you guys in years! I hope you and Bob are doing well!

Bro how does this legend only have 100k. He deserves millions for all the work he but into this ❤️
Turned out awesome, so cozy and warm-feeling. I could never pull off something like this. Just Wow, definitely worth the months long waiting.
Yessss, I'm so stoked. And I guarantee you could seeing as how I did, but it's definitely a commitment. Not for everybody.
Freemassons
man, watching you build that small house, this house upgrade... jeez its a satisfying and motivation source
Probably one of the best videos I've watched in a long time congratulations you've got a great future in whatever you do
Thanks so much! And yeah, still figuring it out but that's encouraging to hear :)
Your dad must be extremely proud of you, I wouldn't be able to do all of that by my self. Awesome vid
Glad your back. Your 'can do' attitude and trail blazing into learning new skills, without fuss is bloody impressive. Loving this one. Congrats.
Thanks a ton!
You are so smart, talented, and hysterical. I don't know when I have enjoyed a build more (maybe because I haven't). Live long and prosper, my friend.
From musician to RUclipsr, this is amazing! I've stayed in a tiny house with my fam before, so seeing one actually being created is awesome! Can't wait to see your channel grow!
I've been waiting months for this! Looks great!
Thanks so much! Sorry for the wait haha
Those heaters have a HUGE history of catching on fire. 😲
Your sense of humor is almost as good as the tiny house. Congrats on the build! Cheers from Croatia :)
Thanks so much! Also, Croatia is one of my favorite countries I’ve ever been to!
Bro for someone with no building experience you absolutely killed this! Big respects 👍🏽
My Goblin, you freaking killed it. I am so unbelievably proud of you and all your awesome-ness. Keep being the coolest goblin around ❤️
The story of the little goblin who could. Thank youuuuuuu Brooke
I'm proud of you, some of us didn't get good parents. But, awesome to see everything you do. ❤️
It is good that you are taking measurements "to prevent death". I heard it is highly advisable not to die. Congratulations on the amazing build!
Cheers!
Love the interior finish just as much as the exterior ! warm and handsome design, colors, ....still my fav tiny home build vid.
What an impressive build! Your parents must be so proud of you! So smart and accomplished at such a young age! You are going to have(already have) such an amazing life! Thanks for sharing with us. Jane in SC ❤🙏
This is the real “Tim the tool man.” Impressive 👏🏽👏🏽
David, I've watched many tiny house, RV and trailer building videos over the past three years, and yours is the best by far! Besides being very informative, along with good production and editing, both parts were incredibly entertaining; I laughed out loud many times and really appreciated your sense of humor. (And I'm old enough to be your grandpa). Anyway, great job! I'm now a subscriber to your channel and look forward to more of your videos. Thanks and please keep them coming!
Thanks so much! Really appreciate it and that’s so good to hear!
Amazing video of an amazing project, David! Thanks for sharing your journey to build your tiny home.
David , this small home is beautiful ! You did an awesome job ! I love your personality !
Bud, you are living my DREAM LIFE right here!!! This journey from start to finish was a blast to watch; Thank you for sharing it with us.
Finally an honest person.. when talking about the real cost!!
New subscriber here! I love your tiny house but especially your sense of humor! You young man are awesome. So proud of you for doing this on your own and learning on your own! Way to go!

I love tiny homes and love how you organised this, it's completely amazing
Man you’ve done amazing with this! Awesome work!
Was well worth the wait
I sincerely waited for this video and Oh my beloved goblin ! The wait was worth it 😍😍😍.
Thankyou for such beautiful video. May you continue to make such wonderful projects in the future too while I gather some energy to make my bed ! 🙂
I've gotta admit, I am bloody impressed. I've been doing woodworking for years, but don't have the dedication for a project like this! Well done and beautiful!
David, awesome job!! I haven't seen you in forever! It looks as if you're doing great!
Holy smokes!!!! This is ammmmmazing and so are you! What a fantastic job you've done of the build annnnd the way you've put this video together in such an educational yet entertaining way. You have an incredible future ahead of you. Your parents must be sooo proud of you. Way to go! All the best from the east coast of Canada to you and yours. Happy travels. 🇨🇦👍🇨🇦
I was really excited to see the interior and it didn't disappoint- great job!! Looking forward to checking out your travel videos too
The interior of an off-grid tiny home reflects a balance between practicality, sustainability, and comfort, providing a cozy and functional living environment for those embracing a minimalist and self-sufficient lifestyle.
Wow! Beautiful job! I love the loft and how it gives you so much space downstairs. Speaking of stairs! You did a fantastic job with all that storage!
Hello Dawn how are you doing hopefully you are doing good??
