- Join me and my friend Debbie as we complete a four-mile circular hike up to the top of Catbells, overlooking Derwent Water, Keswick and the glorious mountain range.

An ideal walk for those who are new to hiking or looking for a route that will take no more than half a day to complete. There are laybys dotted around the base of Catbells but do not park on the opposite side of double yellow lines, you will get a ticket!

Hi Rachel & Debbie Aaww we love the mini mountain that is catbells it’s a really great hike and the views are fab in all weathers! As always loving your energy! You actually too the hard route - the way you went down is the one I always recommend to people to go up and down if they want an easy way up without any scrambling. You both made light work of it mind and it sounded dam windy on the summit, which was shame, as was the rain and clag coming it but good to see none of that stopped you, cheers Alan

The summit was incredible but apart from that it was a lovely short hike.
Obviously Catbells was named for the little bell you put on your cat's collar so you can find them hiding in the laundry basket.

We did Scafell Pike the following day but didn't vlog that due to various reasons. So that makes about 212 left for her! I've already done a few up there.
