The cross hearing aid is amazing! Its powerful that the sound detected by the aid on the "bad ear" is transmitted directly to the aid on the "good ear" side :)

I'm getting a set of hearing aids. I have single sided hearing loss. So the hearing aid on my good ear will help with background noise so that I'll be able to use my bad ear more effeciently

Is it possible for patients who have good speech recognition score on the weak ear to have high power traditional hearing aid on that ear?

what if i have mild to moderate unilateral loss (the other is perfect)? why not a normal hearing aid?

It makes sense because it might improve localization and hearing in background noise.

If you treat a mild unilateral hearing loss with a single hearing aid, would a left right loudness imbalance be an issue? Is it something our brain can get used to?
I think this is possible because it's unlikely for adults to have 0 dB of hearing loss in the good ear.
