I play on original console because I think it's more comfortable to use the touchscreen this way than on an emulator (I haven't tried it yet, but I imagine using the mouse for that purpose is way less versatile). It's a shame my phone can't record the screen with better quality though I don't think using emulators means cheating. If cheats were enabled, it would be noticeable (it's also true that splicing runs is easier on emulators). For example, I play MvsDK on an emulator because I don't own a GBA anymore, and I use Bizhawk, which is the one required to submit runs on speedrun.com
