  • A Dingo walks past my car door while I'm cooking dinner.
At Wallace Hut car park ( Falls Creek ).
It didn't notice me in the car and went into the grass a few meters away and started to jump hunt. Then walked back past my door and sighted me.

I get emails from Falls Creek and they have just issued an update about dingos being sighted in the village.

Many years ago I was along the upper Buffalo River near the Catherine Station and a dingo trotted along the opposite river bank oblivious to us on the other bank. Like you, we watched it and eventually a single clap of the hands startled it and the dog had a look of pure amazement as if it realised if we were hunters it would have been history.
It merged back into the undergrowth and we didn’t see it again that weekend.

Yes it's like that there one moment gone the next. Very rare to see them. Glad you got to see one also. Cheers Chris.

That is a well fed Dingo. Too many times I see Dingo's so skinny you can count their ribs. But not this one. Where ever he lives, must be full of food he can catch.
