Enjoy and please leave questions/comments below!
first video that i heard ATC soo clear!
Can you do a whole tutuorial on IFR with a defult GPS ?
Nice vid. Very well made
In this video, the Cessna omits mention of the published ATIS.(critical to heed and confirm) while identifies their ac type which is needless (C-172 type is already filed, ATC knows it's a 172). The only time IFR ac provide a descriptor is if 'heavy' class for wake turbulence.
The vid indicates is about IFR clearances and FPs but doesn't go into any instructional detail about either. The "Boeing Field" clearance was a 'Vatsim' clearance. Not the real thing.
Great vid keep it up
hey man you gotta start doing videos again
+GeardownFS Would the same phraseology apply for Pilotedge?
We had separate people do the roles.
When will you upload another video?
Are you both the pilot and the tower? Sounds cool.
@acezboy561 Thanks Aidan. That REALLY means a lot.
Haha! Listening to this being made on Skype was heaps of fun. Thanks Colin!

This is a VatSim (USA) IFR clearance. Not real world. Fine for simmers; not so for the real deal,
When a filed IFR on the ground initially checks in with CLR - the handshake - the pilot just states ATC identifier, their identifier, good morning/g'day, and reason for call, instead of peeling off the whole nine IFR yards (ATC might well not be listening), Establishing the handshake ensures both ATC and pilot are at full attentive focus to conduct the real clearance procedure.
why is adds are so so bad rn
