I love how we're so used to seeing how powerful and strong Viltrumites are, that seeing Anissa simply place the tips of her fingers around Amber's neck gives us horrible anxiety because of how easy it is for us to imagine what she'll do
Amber saying they were like iron really put it in perspective for me I never thought about it like that but when she said that I felt like my neck was stuck in a vice
Did you know that the "clown circus" music was originally meant to be a military march for soldiers going to war? The composer wanted to capture the feeling of gladiators going to battle. 😬
Honelty! I thought people were being super unfair to her forfeeling how she did in the first season with the trust thing. _They BOTH_ had a point, and they were just teenagers. It's EASY for us to say as onlookers that she should have no issues with her wanting the same level from him as she felt like she was willing put out; the hate was so unwarranted ( ̄ヘ ̄;)
Yea but that DNA not being a complete 100% is what makes him strong. Being a full blooded Viltrumite makes him lose the ability to have Adrenaline Rush because Viltrumites have evolved past that.
Donald's story is from another comic book in the same universe as Invincible. It's called Britt, and it's the comic that introduced him and went through him realizing he's a cyborg.
19:54. I gotta say, I really enjoyed Anissa's introduction into the Amazon Prime series, though I'm not really looking for "that" particular moment between her & Mark being adapted. Also, I was surprised that she was remodeled a bit in the show that she resembles Sasha Calle's Supergirl.
[Spoilers] To be fair, people only remember Anissa for that moment, and define her by it. But she does become an ally by the end, even saving Eve's life iirc. She is a viltrumite, and while it doesn't excuse her act, she does evolve from it and even come to acknowledge it was a bad thing, but it gave her something she can't consider it bad for.
I wish they would listen to Cecil's dialogue a bit more. I feel like they really are misunderstanding that character because they are not listening to what he is saying.
"'I thought you were stronger...' that's what Allen is going to say." I love the context around that title. Brilliant writing. Just a gut punch every time you reflect on it. The emotion behind the words is completely different to what they sound like on paper, and you would never guess who says it from this episode. The writers stepped up their game so much this season and it really paid off.
It is also his fault for not expressing his emotions, but he clearly has a trauma. No one has ever asked him what he feels because they believed he couldn't feel. He is more than used to suffering in silence. He speaks through his actions.
After that opening music with the names, I am genuinely asking myself where Lola ranks amongst my favorite RUclipsrs of all time.I feel like she could be Number 1 if she hadn't spent all of Death Note slandering my boy Light. Despite that slander, I still love her, which speaks volumes.
Anissa was trying a tactic, nothing about Viltrumites operating in this universe, in every universe, or on this version of Earth specifically indicates anything she said is true. Viltrumite soldiers who kill thousands or millions just to settle disputes between them and other Viltrumites like in Chicago or Thraxa are by definition the last people you want to be enslaved by. Even if you ignored that they conquered planets by shooting first like Unopa or decimated entire populations because of any resistance to enslavement like in the episode 1 alternate Earth, Viltrumites would _still_ not be the people to trust when their racist eugenics views makes them see all people as so inferior that taking a life for nothing is as thoughtless as breathing. Mark may have fumbled his words at first, but Anissa's logic doesn't hold up and all evidence points to her being a liar. Like Viltrumites would care to intervene with every sinking ship of people they feel are animals, as if she didn't only intervene to garner trust then when that didn't work showed no care _at all_ if the same people she just rescued were killed in her battle with Mark. You don't want to trust Anissa...
What is up with all these comic book readers unable to stfu about what happens in the comics? Every invincible reaction they just can’t help but foreshadow and essentially spoil something that happens in the future. They all think they’re so cute and clever, like stfu and let these reactors watch blind and be surprised…I hope they don’t read comments.
It is also his fault for not expressing his emotions, but he clearly has a trauma. No one has ever asked him what he feels because they believed he couldn't feel. He is more than used to suffering in silence. He speaks through his actions.
Every detail about Anissa that would make viewers hate her are essentially spoilers. (Unfortunately i saw it w/o even reading the comic). I think it makes sense for those that haven't seen the comic to want to trust her somehow. However, I do agree that maybe they could give Cecil a bit of a chance somehow.
@@footlong7980 I mean they are bad judge of characters overall if you seen their other reactions. No hate what so ever to the girls but it can get annoying when they are a blinded by emotions when looking at a character.
The Viltrum rule isn’t that bad😂They literally offered to help with all the world problems🤣But oh know we’ll be ruled by someone like we totally aren’t RIGHT NOW!!🤯 On a good note Marks FINALLY FREE!!!! We don’t gotta deal with Ambers shit anymore!!🥳🎉🥳🎊
Your right, Lola. We can trust Anissa. As someone who has read the comics, I can confirm that shes a totally decent person that never takes advantage of other people.
@@619Gotenksthey didn't spoil anything you saying they did is more of an actual spoiler not that it matters since nobody is capable of guessing what will happen in the future
I'm confused. I read the comics a while ago and I have no clue what they might be referring to. (Please don't tell me, the show might change things anyway and I wouldn't want to be constantly comparing the two at that level of detail.) Hypothetically this whole thread could be viewed as spoilers if the original comment is accurate because it seems to read like a very heavy handed hint where someone is trying to lead people to a certain conclusion before the show gets there itself. Of course comments could be wrong or deliberately misleading but I think it's just more courteous to err on the side of caution. It can be hard not to discuss future events with people here because you're excited to see their reaction to it but it lessens the genuine nature of the reaction if they're already expecting certain things like how X character is going to have an insane moment in season 7 so they must survive until then. Like how everyone always says episode 2x6 of Attack on Titan is insane so people have started to expect things then rather than being completely off guard with the reveal. People are free to post what they like but I feel like it's nice to avoid even hinting at spoilers if you can help it because you can imagine how it would have felt if someone else had spoiled the reveal for you. Thanks for listening to my Ted Talk.
Girls you have forgotten that Mark is basically a Full-Blooded Viltrumite, not a literal Half-Breed Viltrimite because of Viltrumite DNA potency and Viltrumites rules of procreating. They mentioned it in the multiple times in both season 1 and 2. That's why Nolan and Anissa kept telling him that they are his TRUE people. He's not human. He's only human at heart because he was raised there, exactly like Superman/Clark Kent.
Being culturally human and having connections with humans is far more important. Mark doesn't belong in Viltrum any more than a person born and raised in America who happens to have Chinese ancestry belongs in China.
They don't know how Bad Anissa actually is and what she will do in future, do they? 😂😂😂 the reaction will be legendary if the show decides to incorporate that 😂

Lola got vengeance for the clown music 😅

She did that _with_ Circus/Clown Music (≧▽≦;)
"I feel like we can work with Anissa". Lol famous last words.

they might leave that part out of the show tbh

30:10. This series made 1 of the best voice acting decisions ever by having Seth Rogan be the voice of Allen The Alien!

The music swap is PAYBACK for last episode intro
Donald is like Kenny from south park at this point.

Cecil: You bastards

the music for Milena LOL

Lola got her revenge🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ok Lola!! That self intro was nice I see you😏 sorry Milena you didn’t do Lola justice last time so…😅 (Edit) and also whoa 😳 if you know you know.
Honestly if Amber's little exposition doesn't make her feelings justified I don't have much hope for humanity's level of empathy (٥↼∀↼)
