We don't actually cut down trees to make paper specifically, we trim them in a way so its not bad for the forest, if anything, its actually good because it prevents issues like overcrowding, suffocation and too much shade for the smaller trees. The only ones we cut are the ones that are sick, dead, trunk to twisted to make planks etc... (thats how we do it in France at least, i studied Offset printing as my formation in Highschool)

Regarding the leaf paper - excellent idea, that said it's still very important for lawn health. Late Fall or road sweepers would be ideal leaf collection to keep this in mind, and then the tree makes more leaves next year. Even if this just supplements wood fiber pulp it's an amazing idea!

We don't actually cut down trees to make paper specifically, we trim them in a way so its not bad for the forest, if anything, its actually good because it prevents issues like overcrowding, suffocation and too much shade for the smaller trees. The only ones we cut are the ones that are sick, dead, trunk to twisted to make planks etc... (thats how we do it in France at least, i studied Offset printing as my formation in Highschool)

Regarding the leaf paper - excellent idea, that said it's still very important for lawn health. Late Fall or road sweepers would be ideal leaf collection to keep this in mind, and then the tree makes more leaves next year. Even if this just supplements wood fiber pulp it's an amazing idea!
