You think if these guys or the Oak Island guys found anything, you wouldn't have heard about it? These shows are recorded a season in advance. So it would have been in the news if anything of any importance was found.

Actually I remember one some show of that type something was found and whatever the channel it was that did the show actively did things in order to keep the news under wraps until the show aired, I cant for the life of me remember the show however
My 1st thought was to get a well machine and drill down. That's what they did! My granddad owned his well drilling business and would have loved to see this on TV. ❤
I’ve been an archeologist for 40 years and have not only studded the Aztec empire but have helped discover 500+ new Aztec sites and ruins in the last few decades. I can tell you right now that the box is not of Aztec design as they state. That does not mean the discovery is any less interesting.
See they keep saying Aztec box. Hypothetically could the Conquistadors caught up to and eliminated the Aztecs that "apparently" ran north with the gold. Then the Conquistadors buried it somewhere for whatever reason and that being the box. Not Aztec but a simple box made from the Conquistadors. I am just spit balling here to make sense of this shenanigans. Im neither believer or non believer. Its a show, might be real might not be I dont know

Hello, I've been researching this subject for a while now, I would like to share a couple of ideas with you. 1st. Just because a log is from 500 years ago does not mean it is Aztec, I noticed the flat ends, the Aztecs had no saws, just stone axes...2nd. I would have taken a sample of the rope, Aztecs used Maguy plant for cordage and not the large round rope to tie the logs together. 3rd. off the box subject, I have never seen Aztecs petroglyphs. What is a log structure from the 1500's doing down there? Who made the effort to take those logs like that deep underground at that location. Treasure or no treasure, I don't care. I want to know what was worth doing this way back in history. Same question on Oak Island. Who took the trouble of making tunnels deep underground with water traps and massive roadways for transport from ship to shore. Again Treasure or NO Treasure makes no difference. WHAT were they trying to hide!
Could be a mine shaft accessible from even a mile away.
I guess I am a skeptic, the ropes tying the logs together in this video would have eroded a long time ago.
Have the water tested for gold content. Oak Island introduced that new tech for determining if gold is close by via H2o.

They place stuff there for the show. Do people really think that if they found montezumas fabled horde that they would still be making episodes? Do people really know anything about monetuzmas fabled long lost treasure horde??? There's a reason they traveled 5 thousand miles through mountains and unforgiving desert to hide it and then killed each other afterwards. The treasure is north of 1 trillion u.s. the knights templar treasure is worth around 5 trillion in u.s. dollars from when they found it under Solomons temple making montezumas treasure the 2nd most valuable treasure in the world. Fun fact. El dorado is said to be montezumas. Do you know how much gold the aztecs found not to mention other relics that are priceless. They went a long way to keep it from people like this from ever finding it.
Any test samples would be best sent for testing with no mention of Blind Frog or their names. Keep some of the material safe in case some goes missing. Use a non-descript mail address. If they find something they will get pressure as well as the nextdoor land owners. Any access roads, fresh water etc etc, arrangements like this need to be buttoned up tight legally. The system will use any weakness to impede the search and if you find anything major keep it quiet until removed and split up. Anything old or tribal will be used to close you down.

The show is very interesting, the mystery is very compelling. The two major figures the father son team are very experienced, intelligent and hard working, but there's a problem with the management of the project, the way they've been going about the task is more than odd from my viewpoint.
I suspect it's the producers of the show's attempt to create more interest, but it's only make them look stupid.
My main question is who was the mouth breathing MORON who thought it was a good approach to drag a stacked log box out of an underwater cave with a chain????

Call me crazy but I've been watching these treasure finding shows for twenty years. They lead us on. The stay on the air and then "Poof" they're off the air. Is it cause they found something or the viewers get tired of being led on. Not sure how long "Curse of Oak Island" has been on.
Because they film in the summer... air it in the winter. So we basically get a year inbetween seasons. 4 more months we should have season 3

The ends of the logs are very flat and cut 90 degrees to the length. I do not believe that the Aztecs or Native Americans could have cut the logs that way. All they had was stone axes. Gold and silver is far too soft to cut wood.

Utah EPA or UDEQ doesn't allow removing water from one location to another like you can in other states. They would have shut the operation down immediately if the tried to do so.

But yhe rope looks newer than my new rope and the ends of the logs are cut nicer than the trees cut in my yard. I would expect thise found by the wayside scrub oaks to be varying widths and they are more even than what my lumber yard sells for treated fencing logs.
