- It's easy to get caught up in the problems of the world and forget that we have the power to make a difference in this world with our gardens. #gardens #gardenanswer #bees
Gardens provide a much needed sanctuary for people and the little critters we share creation with. We can make a difference.
This video shows some of the pollinators visiting my Zone 6A garden in southeast Michigan. They're loving the new pollinator-friendly garden.

Yes We Can!
Indeed we can!!
Beautiful! Bravo.
Absolutely wonderful!
Thank you.
My garden was filled with bees this year, what amazed me was the fact that they did not seem to mind me working among them. My garden is my happy place.
My garden is my happy place too and those bees are great companions.
❤
Just lovely. would you mind sharing the name of the plant with delicate white flowers at 1:43?
Thank you. That is a white flowering nepeta called Calamintha Nepeta. I bought them from Bluestone Perennials.
Bees in the garden make me happy. We need them and I intentionally grow what will attract them. Thanks for sharing your beautiful garden! 🌺
Thanks so much. It makes me happy to see those bees too.
What is the plant at 1:10? I think I saw one at a Minneapolis-area garden center and passed it up because this year I'm focusing on plants in purples and blues (and saving expenses by "shopping" in my garden).
A week ago, after toiling so long and hard this season in my renovated front garden, I sat amongst the plants and took delight watching the bumblebees selecting different areas of my nepeta and hyssop blooms to feed upon. 😊
I'm glad to hear you are enjoying the fruits of your labor. That makes it worth the effort, doesn't it. The plant at time stamp 1:10 is Persicaria orientalis 'Cerise Pearls' (common name is Kiss-me-over-the-garden-gate). It is considered invasive in some states so you should check with your local extension office. I will also warn you that they attract Japanese beetles so if those are an issue in your garden, you may not want to add them. I grew them from seed. The variety I selected is shorter than the traditional cottage garden variety. I love them!
Nonsense your garden is 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% x 1billion of the earth. Just pretending to feel good.
It is better to light one candle than to curse the darkness.
@@winthropthurlow3020 Indeed!
Yes, your candle plus my candle, plus …@@winthropthurlow3020
Wow, didn't your mom never teach you to respect others ?
What a rude person.
It doesn't matter what others do as long as they don't bother you and they feel happy .
Absolutely! And you did it the perfect way. Thanks. ✨
Thanks so much. It's great to see those happy pollinators in the garden.
You are right! Gardens make a difference to when you create a relationship with it!💚
Well said Cheri. Thanks for watching.
Beautiful video!!!
Thanks so much.
Yes we can. One little garden plot at a time.
Amazing flowers, so good for all insectes ❤
The insects are loving all the flowers right now.
After coming here from the video with the powerful messages from Gertrude. Everything about this, how inspired I felt after the prior video, the piece of music chosen, and the footage truly warmed my heart. Simply wonderful!
Thank so much. I appreciate your kind note and thanks for watching.
Thank you soooo much for that!!! I saw your other vid on pollinators and taking out the turf...I thought it was just too short! Then I was tickled to death to see this one! Love your choices of bold color in among the silvery soft leaves of the Dusty Miller!!! It's just too sweet!!! ❤
Thank you. I love that dusty miller too. It is a great performer in the garden this season.
This is a beautiful garden and great inspiration for me next year. Congratulations.
Thanks so much.
Gorgeous 🍃🌺🍃
Thanks for watching!
Sue your front border looks beautiful!! Are the alliums millennium or another variety? Thanks for sharing 😊🌼
Thank you. Those are allium millennium. The pollinators are going nuts over those flowers.
@@GardenMoxie ok thanks because I have the millennium and in my garden it finished blooming last month so I thought maybe yours was one of the other varieties mine seems like an early bloomer, I wish it would last longer.
Beautiful!
Happy Gardening!
