I wonder how many of the ppl who ski this stuff will be around at age 67 like me. Been doing mtn stuff for 50 yrs now, but I avoided things like this. Something to consider.

Hi Alan. Thanks for watching the videos! Everyone has different risk tolerances so I can completely understand not wanting to ski lines like this. But for me and my friends this is what we live for!

Would you say Miner's is still skiable around the first week of June?

Unfortunately with the low snowpack this year I don’t think it will be skiable in June. Now might go. But I think June would be a bit late. However if you are looking for skiing in June check out my video on 3/4 couloir and Covid Couloir as we skied those in June a few times! They might be a fun mission

So skinning not recommended only for the first little bit then? You guys are on skins like 15 seconds later in the vid haha. Just curious

Yes, definitely skins are not needed. I have done miners about 10x and only attempted it 1x with skins. The trail is so popular and busy the snow is always very packed and icy, you just need crampons.

@@TisTheSkison such a great video! I've been eyeing this up for years but can't find anyone thats actually fone it. Ehat time of year do you go usually?

@@MrMountian1 honestly it just depends on stability. i was actually thinking about skiing it today but i think it would be painful getting out. Apparently its filled in quite nicely right now. I skied it in Jan and March last year. But wait for a day with good stability!
