Loved your version of the trip for sure , I really liked Brad's also ! That area is where I taught my daughter how to drive a stick when she was 12 , can't go wrong in 4wd low , wow that was over 20 years ago .

I know this is silly but I worry about Lando, I hope he only goes for short runs. He must be a very high energy dog and love to run. You should have named him Scout since he likes to lead the way. ☺️
The breed needs to run for up to 4 hours a day, he should be perfectly fine and happy doing so.
