It really WARMS my heart each time I watch your videos…first to see you all together. How amazing it is to travel with your children and experiencing everything with them! PRICELESS!!! Second, for taking me with you in your wonderful journey! I am more than grateful to have seen many stunning places, watched soooo many epic moments that takes my breath away (just like that newborn baby moose…wow!) or just simply watching you having coffee/supper together surrounded by such beauty of this beautiful land or huddled in your jeep because it’s raining…♥️….and of course LANDÓ gets me all the time!!!! ♥️😘😍🤗THANK YOU THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart Epic family! I always pray for your safety. Thank you that you made it to your cabin safe and sound. Carol, I can’t help but noticed the antler you found, neatly tucked in on the side of the jeep. I was so excited for you when you spotted that gem!!! I can’t wait to see where you’re going to put that in your cabin. I love you EPIC FAMILY. Enjoy your cabin and I can’t wait for the next video! Cheers!! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Thank you so much!
Bison and baby Moose; how cool!! So happy you all made it safely and get a chance to recharge and enjoy that oasis of an island!
Thank you 😊
I've been watching you guys for a few years and the one thing that truly impresses me is your ability to keep everything organized while travelling, cooking and sleeping. I know it takes a tremendous amount of effort and planning to keep everything organized day to day.
I travel alot for work, leaving my home near Peterborough Ontario and travelling to remote worksites across Canada. This year I thought I would try something different, rather than stopping to eat out every meal I decided I would cook for myself along the way. The reward of preparing my own meals is awesome.
Thanks for the inspiration and enjoy your time in Ontario.
Thanks for watching! That’s a great idea, it takes a lot more effort but I think it’s worth it. Have a wonderful day.
Pete you are very correct every area has some type of beauty. That is the key to life, to find some kind of beauty in everything. So glad you made it back to the cabin safely. As always thank you each for allowing us to tag along on this epic adventure!
Hello everyone, I'm still following this wonderful family here in Brazil. God bless you all
Been watching for a long time but never commented until now! I have traveled places that I will never see in my lifetime, thanks to you. I have enjoyed it tremendously!!! Glad you made it home safely! Thanks again!
Hi Barbara. Thank you for watching and for leaving a comment. We are so glad you have enjoyed our channel so far. We hope you will enjoy our cabin videos while we are here living off the grid. While we are here we are updating passports and all the other paperwork in preparation for our next Overland adventures. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!
Welcome home. Glad you made it safe and sound. Look forward to seeing how the cabin fared while you were adventuring. Cheers, Johnathon
The baby moose🥹 Enjoy your cabin… looks like beautiful place to relax & re-energize!! God Bless!!
When I was Ontario, the beauty of nature inspired me a lot. What's the most valuable heritage? That's family oriented thing and not a money and fame. You will survive successfully in even money oriented society based on Henry David Thoreau's Walden. Jeep will survive in level4 auto drive system period, too.
Glad to see you made it to the cabin. How wonderful it is to come home to the place you all love.
Been away from your channel for a little while ( work related )Now I’m back watching all of them they all get better and better.
We are glad to have you back. Have a wonderful day.
Epic travels. Loved seeing the baby moose. I was lucky to see a new-born and mom in Vermont a few years ago. Glad you guys made it to the cabin. Cheers-
So my wife and I have been thinking of road tripping from our home in NW New Jersey out to western North Dakota to visit where she grew up and your latest vid made up my mind… absolutely!! Thanks for the awesome footage. Enjoy your time back at the Cabin.
Guys i was just in the u.p. for the firts time a couple weeks ago. I rode my bike around lake michigan. It was amazing. Stayed a night in a cabin near paradise in a cabin on lake superior. Im going back to sxs in a week and a half. I cant wait.
That’s awesome. It is such a beautiful area!
So glad y'all made it safely to your cabin. Enjoy the rest, enjoy nature and enjoy your family. Stay safe and God bless.
Yeah!!! You made it back to Canada. Welcome home. Loved your vid. Stay safe 💐🌹🌸🌷🌺🦋
Caroline is the best editor!, phew that scene when you guys are near Teddy NP blow out with the classical music .
Glad you guys got back safe to the cabin.
I watched you rebuild the cabin and leave it; now I’m watching you return. Awesome! 👍🏻🙏🦘
Another great video! Love the additions to the Jeeps. The friendships & camaraderie with other overlanders seems great...X Overland, Lifestyle Overland, etc. And such a rare video of Lando still and sleeping...looks like the "kids" were wiped out, too. God Bless and Safe Travels!
Great video, love the new heater install. As you passed through my home state of WI and surrounding states where I grew up skiing, camping, boating, etc....Peter, I was thinking the same thing you said, "there is beauty everywhere". Glad you are home, and we look forward to your upcoming off-grid cabin living.
Awesome trip
Ребята, вы как всегда молодцы!!!,
Очень рад вашему новому видео!!!
Смотрим с женой с большим удовольствием.
С любовью из России!!!
Welcome back to Canada! Looking forward to the next episode...
I really love the video that was a really cool heater system that you put in I’ll have to look into that one I’ve been thinking about instead of running propane bottles in my rooftop tent Tepui running a diesel heater I think you’re in the same spot that I had visited in Dakota but there’s a camping area that’s all the way at the bottom that’s where I stayed. can’t believe it’s almost been two years since you’ve been back at the cabin can’t wait to see more videos ok 👌🏼🔥🤠🔥Camping Russ out
Hey guys, happy that you make it back home. Its been 2 years of really cool adventures, with ups and downs . Now us time to enjoy your cabin in till the next road trip. Big hug and thank you for every adventure.
U guys went through Duluth! I live in the twin cities and go up north past Duluth all the time! Try taking a drive up the north shore of Minnesota! Waterfalls galore, Bear, moose, and gorgeous scenery!! I think you guys would really enjoy it! Love seeing everyone get back home safe and sound!
Beautiful area
Thanks to you guys we finally decided to do our first road trip. From CT to Nevada- Wyoming - Colorado and back to CT it’s going to be 2 weeks. We are so excited 😆.
Glad you have made it back to the cabin. I envy your life style. The boys must have left the bikes in Montana. If you ever find yourself going through Nacogdoches Texas you are always welcome. My wife and I also have a girl and two boys. But they are grown and are living their own life’s. My wife and I think that your son Peter and our youngest son could pass for brothers they look so much alike. Enjoy your stay at the cabin.
Thank you. We appreciate the invite. Yes the boys left their bikes in Montana for the time being. Have a wonderful day!
I've been in the part of North Dakota you camped , it is beautiful in the spring.
My old stomping grounds in western ND.
Good to see you make it back safely back to Ontario. We seem to have been traveling in your tracks (Texsas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, back to Az, NM then up to Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana) since March 21 and were hoping to cross paths but you were always about a month ahead based on videos :). We are just finishing up in Montana (Yellowstone has re-opened!) and traveling to Alberta then back to Ontario. Glad to have taken the kids out of school and given them a glimpse of "different" knowledge out there. Apparently the young generation calls this "touching the grass" :)
AHHHH, my Sunday is complete! Really enjoy you sharing your adventures…….even getting back to “Base Camp” 🙏
I am enjoying this journey with you so very much. I look forward to each video. Donna Stephens, North Augusta SC. Blessings
beautiful roadside view
Welcome Home Epic Family!
Thank you.
what a rad heater upgrade! So glad you got all the new batteries and set the whole off grid system up. What happened to Vandi when it broke down? You trimmed down the fleet to jet back tot he cabin ;-) so rad you got to see a baby moose calf. Shooting with a camera lets them live longer ;-) enjoy your cabin after the Covid hiatus
Randy had a ruptured fuel line, that’s it. Once it was repaired we were back on the road.
@@EFRT YAY so glad that is all it was!!
Amazing video
Was wondering why you switched to 4 - 75ah batteries instead of the larger 100?
I think the tight fit made it necessary.
Nice install!
I was just in the Michigan UP. This is a nice time of the year (Fall is better) to see the sights. Hope you enjoyed!
c'est bien les RC crawler bien venu au club
Welcome back to the area !! 🙏🌲🇨🇦
Thank you.
Glad you made it safely to home. Now I’m
Out on the road. No, I don’t have a channel . Yet
I love all the upgrades that you do to your vehicles and to help your lifestyle. How long before you use that roof solar panel to power the jeeps? I think it would be awesome!
Welcome back, can't wait for some Ontario episodes again!👍
Thanks 😎👍
Glad you made it safe back home let the adventure continue
the info up to 10m19s is quite helpful, txs! Do you have a DC-DC charger and/or beefed alternator to charged your 300A of batteries? Why'd you go with 4*75Ahr BB vs their "game changer 285Ahr" units? For HOT temps, do you have a Maxxair Fan or a 12V AC to cool the interior?
The battery choice was due to size and space constraints. The solar panels on the roof keeps the batteries charged.
Nice family and great videos . I believe you guys will change to a bigger offroad vehicle soon so don't waste your money on Jeeps . Those two are good just for half a day of travel.
So so so good, so blessed to see
Thanks for the video. Enjoy your break from being on the road so long.
Thank you for sharing this wonderfull journey with all of us, really appreciate it!!
HI EPIC FAMILY 👋
AWESOME CROSS COUNTRY DRIVE COOL HOW THE LANDSCAPE CHANGES GETTING CLOSER TO YOUR HOME .SEEING FAMILY / FRIENDS AS YOU HEAD BACK TO YOUR SIDE OF THE BORDER / CANADA 🇨🇦 THAT WAS AMAZING TO SEE A NEW BORN BABY MOOSE JUST BORN & MADE IT SAFELY OFF THE HWY MOM & BABY ! WE'LL HAVE TO SEE HOW YOU LIKE THE WEBASTO HEATERS TOO ! MAYBE A FUTURE BUY ?
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR FOOTAGE / VIDEO 📹 & DRONE FOOTAGE 🙏 AMAZING STORYTELLING !
PLEASE BE SAFE ! HAVE FUN ! ENJOYED 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME / US TAG ALONG WITH YOU ON YOUR ADVENTURES !
@around the 23 minute mark you are going right past where I grew up. Would have been cool to see you guys pass through. You could have done some camping in the Chequamegon National Forest near Iron River, Wisconsin on HWY 2 as you were going through.
That’s a beautiful area!
you seem, as a family to have a wonderful Hellenic virtue called 'philotimo', a four syllable word with a plethora of meaning no one can nail down exactly; not Oxford, Webster or to even Plato, however it reminds one of all 'what is to be pure and human'. Evge once again!
New subscriber... Watched several videos in two days, First one back at the cabin after two years.
I lived| in Tulsa, close to sapulpa. We're you close to either of those when you had your work done on your vehicle, parts? Heard you mentioned Outfitters. We used to live in Amarillo, and Pampa. I still have family in Amarillo. Now my children and part of my grandchildren live in Ft Worth Texas. I have family in beautiful NW Arkansas, siloam springs.
I'd be curious as to how much your final set up would cost. It almost seems easier to buy a truck and truck camper set up with all this included and have more comfort creatures of home. Having said that, I realize a truck camper set up can't go everywhere a Jeep can but it seems way more convenient to me. Cheers!
Yes, it might be simpler in the long run, we just like the Jeeps in their ability to go anywhere we want.
Have a wonderful day!
Home Sweet Home 🇨🇦❤️
Welcome home!
Thank you
Plus have a great summer!!
I ❤️ EXPEDITION OVERLAND
👏👏👏
Beautiful ❤️. That's a cool 👍 vlog. Be happy safe and healthy ❤️.
With all the extra weight added to the Jeep and the larger tires have you considered adding a supercharger for more engine power?
I love your guys , videos and can wait to see more footage of the island .
More to come!
Welcome back to Ontario!
Love your videos and lifestyle. Sometimes your audio isn’t the best. Have you heard of the DJI mic system. Great reviews am getting one myself. The sell out fast.
Oops! Guess your still “trekking toward” The Cabin ! May God give u a smooth road 🙏🌹
Super episode god bless you thank you
✌
Yay!!!
I have a gas espar, it starts to flake out at around 9500 feet in elevation even though it’s rated to go to 10,000 feet in elevation. I am very interested to see how the webasto does at elevation like that because I do a lot of mountain camping I can’t always use my heater.
Chip and Dan, if you has a heater that can get to 10k+ that runs from gas, would be very interested.
Another Epic video! Fabulous
Welcome home
Amazing videos as always! Was wondering if you could point me in the direction of the Webasto installation location so I could talk to them. I’m finishing up a SEMA build and would love to chat with them on some things. Thanks and take care!
👍👍
Have y'all invited lifestyle overland. Sarah, Carolina, Kevin up to the cabin?
Yes. They are always welcome.
Welcome back home!
Any concerns having batteries so low and potential high water crossings? Or do you just avoid any high water?
And are there elevation limits to the heater?
Thanks again and enjoy being home.
Even in Highwater we don’t seem to get a lot in the vehicle. Most heaters struggle at 10,000 feet, these will work if we burn them hot which is what we plan to do in higher elevations.
Hope that helps have a wonderful day.
Curious with the webasto heater does that install affect any leaking with water...? I like it it... EFRT is awesome huge fan love your content. TY
We haven’t had a problem with water leaking. Everything is sealed off pretty well. Have a wonderful day.
Where’s the boys bikes you have some unique places to ride near the cabin
Great video. Love learning about your creative build solutions. Would you please link to the limb brush guard (wire connection up front) product? Safe travels.
These are the ones we use. 👍🏻
www.amazon.com/BORDAN-Wrangler-2007-2017-Protector-Eliminate/dp/B07KMR15C3/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=12455NNRKM5XB&keywords=jeep+limb+risers&qid=1654444753&sprefix=jeep+limb%2Caps%2C157&sr=8-3
WOW ...
Ok ... got a question for you. What happened to the bikes? Did you leave them behind???
About 2 weeks ago one of your jeeps had to be towed, would you let us know what happened to the jeep, Thank-you.
We talked about it at the very end of the Towing video, but it was a ruptured fuel line. We are thankful that Vandi is back up and on the road. Have a wonderful day.
@@EFRTI'm apologize I miss that, thank-you.
hai hello subtille indonesia thank you......
🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
When the dog runs on the trail, how many miles does he usually do before he’s ready to get back in the Jeep?
He’d go all day if we let him. We can always tell when he’s a little bit tired and will stop and bring him in. He can do 5 miles at a full run no problem.
You should have close to 1 mil views
bonjour et merci pour vos vidéo et bonne anniversaire 🎁
Where would y'all next road trip be to?
We are just trying to figure that out. Iceland and parts of Europe maybe.
@@EFRT that would definitely be an epic road trip.
Is verry good👍👍👍,i from indonesia
what did you do with the trailer
We left it in storage while we are at the cabin.
Ur son is gonna have to find a really SPECIAL kind of girl for himself to fit into the EPIC family!! Sweet!
what ended up being the issue with your one Jeep? i missed it if you said in one of your videos already. Cheers
They had a loose fuel line if I remembre
The fuel line ruptured. We explained it at the very very end of last week’s video. Thanks for watching and have a wonderful Sunday!
Family… what was the outcome of the Jeep, what was wrong with it? Thanks.
It was a ruptured fuel line. We’re thankful that Vandi is back on the road.
@@EFRT right on. Good thing it wasn’t something serious and that you guys got help from that trucker.
Big fan
Thanks 😊
what tents are those?
These are complete campers by JXL American Safari. Check them out at www.redriverriggs.com
@@EFRT thanks 😊
🙋💕
Just started watching, I love your travels. But i can't here some of what you say. Some is louder then others
good luck on others videos >3
more Carol and Carolyn.......less Peter and Pete.
EFRT, Your video was extraordinary. Just finished watching for a second time. Then you have to know what an offensive advertisement appeared immediately afterward. I know you did not have anything to do with it’s placement but perhaps you can move youtube to cut such inappropriate advertising once and for all. Where does such garbage come from? If youtube wishes to contact me, yes by all means have then do so. If you need more info you may contact me as well. Glad you are home safe and sound.
Yes, that is a real problem with them. Unfortunately we have no contact and no control over what they post in terms of commercials.
I know, however your programming is terrific!!!
