I remember Jakko's columns in long-defunct 'Making Music' mag that was free in every music shop. His writing was better than his rather undistinguished (though generally competent) session playing.
It was in Kilburn, on the corner of Messina Avenue. It's the UKCG HelpCentre now, a very differnet kind of religious experience from seeing Level 42 :)
No sure who said this was state of the art, but it wasn't me LOL. This is from a very old, poor quality vhs tape. Would love to see if anyone else has a better copy.
@@winman42 My point, which I should have clarified, is that RUclips seems to be almost the only public outlet for music concert video these days, as physical media is close to vanishing. Why are we limited to such dismal quality recordings of music that has great personal and historical value? I suspect that the original professional master of this concert has long since been consigned to landfill which is close to criminal. We need a national archive like the US Library of Congress for these.
Thanks for the great videos brill winston
Excellent ! Thank you for your work. I haven't seen this live before !

_This_ was state of the art video recording in 1991? Really? I'm sure my VHS machine was better than that.
