Boeing role in this case is pretty clear. What is not clear is why Alaska only blocked overwater flights and use of a couple of seats after they had multiple information of possible defects resulting in cabin pressure variations.

Forget building maximum capacity planes and revert to a safe plane model that's easier to audit and maintain and build more of them. Politically this is a spiraling out of control process cost and maintenance as well as red tape if we don't put this in a completely manageable and maintainable to the standards that can easily be met rather than those that are out of reach while people are flying, we will never be safe.

3:12 Who needs bolts when you have a zip tie? Check out figure 16 in the NTSB preliminary report, 2nd up forward stop pin/pad assembly. Boeing photo taken back in December just before interior panel reinstallation after the rivet rework. Apparently NTSB missed it too. Yes, there are NO BOLTS, but without that zip tie stopping vertical movement the plug pops open before they could load the baggage.

Airline companies should carefully check newly hired employees that gets near their airplanes. With what’s going on right now there are bad and crazy people that can sabotage airplanes, cars, trucks or any vehicle.

Even a Kid knows how to tight his show laces. Not to put bolts in the same area in varios planes looks as inner savotage look into curiculmns of these Employs. To many fanatics against Boeing in the medias and new plane designs this same size in the market.

    From the NY Post:
“Do you want to fly in an airplane where they prioritized DEI hiring over your safety? That is actually happening,” Musk said on X on Wednesday.
The billionaire, whose comments followed a nearly-catastrophic Alaska Airlines flight that suffered a fuselage panel blowout over the weekend, was reacting to a screenshot that showed a proxy statement from Boeing filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Beginning in 2022, the aircraft manufacturer changed its incentive plan from giving executives bonuses based on passenger safety, employee safety, and quality to rewarding them if they hit climate and DEI targets, according to the filing.
