I love the way he responds with grace and dignity. He doesn't need to call names or be a bully. I respect Pete Buttigieg and hope he considers running for the presidency.
Hmmm so what has he done for our nation? The only reason he is in office is because of an agenda. He has NO CLUE on how to discuss in a meaningful way on our transportation system. Ask him what he THINKS ABOUT aviation. Failure on multiple levels.

Pete Buttigieg is the best communicator in modern politics.
Exceptionally rare in the current atmosphere of manufactured cable news hyper-partisanship bickering.
Pete's thoughtful and respectful clear-speech style instantly cools down any manic and overheated back and forth. It is remarkable to watch : Pete, like a benevolent cobra, hypnotizes its prey, which is immediately forced to slow down following his lead. He never talks over them and try as they might to goad him back into a fight, Pete masterfully steers the discourse with measured tones bolstered with simple facts, respectful engagement and charm. Uncanny.
I never thought I would get to see two openly gay men in positions of power like this.
I am a lifelong Republican and I'd vote for Pete in a presidential race.

There are so many talented, young politicians in America with great ideas yet we seem to keep electing the same old men who simply want to maintain the status quo.

However, with a vocabulary of 157 words it may be mathematically possible to 'generate' approximately 50,000 different sentences/phrases/statements each containing just two of the 157 total number of words in the 'core vocabulary' traditionally used by a political leader. So, imagine how much further it might be possible to go with a 157 item vocabulary if the 'possible combinations' contained in a sentence/phrase/statement of these words were not merely different combinations/orderings/sequencings of just two words per sentence/phrase/statement, i.e., in a very long sentence it might be the case, for example, that more than twenty instead of just two of the 157 'core' words is featured!? How many [at least?] different possible combinations of twenty words can be constructed from a total of 157 different words?

He is not only a smooth talker, he is a leader and a very smart one. He would make a great president because he is honest and transparent, he loves America and wants what is best for this country. It’s a pity that Americans think they are not ready to a gay president. It should be about the best person for the job; not about party politics and loyalty, our loyalty should be to America and it’s people. I am happy president Biden did not look on his sexual orientation but on his morals, his leadership, his brilliant mind and what he could bring to the table. I do hope that hypocritical voters will start thinking about our survival as a country and not a leader’s sexual orientation. It would be nice to have the secretary as our president in the near future, while he is still young.

The US infrastructure deficiencies started with the Regan administration's tax reform. That tax reform bill greatly decreased the funds going to the states for their roads, bridges, dams, etc. It's a hot mess.

Dude, I've had a bridge collapse right in front of me on I-40 exit 7 in Tennessee. It was terrifying. Most terrified I've ever been behind the wheel. All of us slammed on the brakes and prayed we didn't hit each other. No deaths, and we were ok but I couldn't drive the rest of the way home. I was shaking so bad, my husband took over once they opened a detour up

Pennsylvania has been pushing off bridges for decades....just last year they finally started resurfacing 95 ..... MD and DE has upgraded their interstate system over the last years.....PA has been lazy in maintenance and upgrades....where did the money go?
The military gets $700 billion per year. The police and jails get almost as much. This "huge" infrastructure bill is tiny in comparison. What a waste.

He's has all the criteria you could want for a Presidential Candidate. I think we'd be in good hands with him after Bidens 2nd term.

What is *NOT* to like about someone who cares about our country *AND* his family. Many of our countrymen need to look at our country overall - not greediness for their own self interest. There is a lot to be done. I feel a bit more positive with Secretary Buttigieg handling this.
