We have some excellent Pinots in Australia too from across the south of the country. Mornington Peninsula near where I live in particular but also in South Australia and the Margaret River region of WA.
This is true! A couple years ago we had a great pinot from the Yarra Valley from Helen & Joey Estate called Layla; if you ever get a chance to try it you should.
