I use gold clip into the orange clip on the masterbus. I think in this genre the orange clip is the one that should be doing the job. So I barely touch the gold clip and then maybe 2dB gain reduction on the orange clip. Then Acusticas ASH on the drumbus is cool. I'm gonna try that arturia joint. Barely use standardclip anymore
@@2probeatsi usually do 0.5 - 1dB on the ash on the drum bus. Sometimes some weiss comp/limiter after. Its cool but getting är that FL clipping sound is more important on these type of tracks, atleast for me. Then I do some sidechain with trackspacer or soothe and a little clip gain of if needed on the 808/kick. Im gonna se if the arturia can replace my drumsbus. Great content as always
@@2probeats It’s a really nice clipper plugin. It has 3 modes. Clipping/limiting and a combination of both called “Hybrid”. When you are in hybrid mode you can play with attack, release and some more settings. I’m warning you, if you try it you will throw all of the other clippers to the trash😉

Sometimes I clip more with Orange somtimes more with Gold. How do you like Ash?
