Quick Tip - Sega Genesis Annoying Buzzing Sound with RCA Cable

Do you have an original Sega Genesis hooked up with an aftermarket RCA cable? Does it make a terrible buzzing sound? It may not be the capacitors or AC adapter causing the problem.

Interesting. I am going to have to test this theory with my level hike adapter from amazon for the genesis. I'm wondering if the reason it has such a loud hissing sound is because it's trying to get stereo through the hdmi when that output is mono.

You should get a cable which takes the sound from the headphone jack or do a tripple bypass. A tripple bypass will require a mega drive 2 cable for video and audio.
